During Tuesday's primary elections, Wayne County Circuit Clerk Kathryn
Revette, all five election commissioners and poll workers utilized some
new technology. Now, instead of paper voter rolls, those casting a
ballot simply presented their photo ID and a poll worker looked up the
voter's name and address on a tablet. Making voter rolls electronic is
expected to help streamline the process while also insuring voter
security. The information on this particular screen is those of the
photographer's.
