Graveside services for William Ray "Bill" Donald, 83, of Waynesboro, will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021 from Waynesboro Cemetery, with Ray Hudson and Rev. Clay Conner officiating.

Born in Carmichael on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1937 to Ray E. Donald and Ollie Mae Donald, he served in the United States Army. He was retired as a Grave Digger for Freeman Funeral Home.

He died on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021 at Rush Specialty Hospital in Meridian.

He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, T.G. and Rita Conner, Richard B. Conner and Mike and Tracey Conner, all of Waynesboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Albert Busby of Waynesboro; two cousins, Bonnie "J.W." Dew and Ronnie Craft; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie E. Conner Donald; his father, Ray E. Donald; his mother, ollie Mae Donald; a son, Jimmy Conner; and a sister, Joyce Donald Sumrall.
