Wayne Academy bolstered its playoff position with a thrilling 42-35 double overtime win over long-time rival Winston Academy Friday night during its Annual Homecoming Game.

The War Eagles of WCHS traveled south to Gautier and fought hard before falling by a 31-8 margin.
