Graveside services for Frank Hayes Ray, 68, of Leakesville, will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 from Chicora-Mt. Zion Cemetery, with Bishop Karl Rogers officiating.

Born on June 2, 1953, he a a former Truck Driver with Marshall Durbin.

He is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Cora and Darrell Green, Christine and Willie Jackson and Catherine and Grandver Everett; and a goddaughter, Terra Vail.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services for Eugene "Baker" Worsham, Jr., 65, of Lena and formerly of Waynesboro, will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home, with Rev. Born in Jackson on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021 to Kyle and Lindsey Boswell, he died on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

He is survived by his father and mother, Kyle and Lindsey Boswell of Sumrall; his maternal grandparents, Mike and Terri Seawright of Waynesboro; his maternal great-grandparents, Gene and Carol Goldman of Millry, Ala., and Doyle and Neva Seawright of Waynesboro; his paternal grandparents, Don and Donna Boswell of Meridian; his paternal great-grandmother, Bobbie Faye Northcott of Meridian; his aunt and uncle, Courtney and Chad Hover of Meridian; and two uncles and aunts, Adam and Hope Brown of Millry and Storme and Meagan Seawright of Waynesboro.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Maurice and Sara Boswell; and his paternal great-grandfather, Harold Eugene Williams.

TIMOTHY JAMES EVANS, CFNP

Funeral services for Timothy James Evans, CFNP, 50, of Fulton, were conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Holsonback and Rev. Patrick Beard officiating.

Interment followed at Liberty Cemetery.

Born in Laurel on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1971 to James Lafayette Evans and Betty Lou Deen Evans, he was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Fulton. He worked as a Family and Emergency Nurse Practitioner for more than 23 years. He was employed by Team Health Provider at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La.

He enjoyed volunteering as a medical provider with Indigenous Outreach International and made five trips to Ethiopia during his involvement with this ministry.

He died on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 at Oshsner LSU Health in Shreveport, La.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Anna K. Walker Evans of Fulton; his mother, Betty Lou Deen Evans of Laurel; two sons, Jonah Seth Evans and Timothy Noah Evans, both of Fulton; three sisters, Lesa Evans Wheat of Laurel, Donna Evans of Ellisville and Krista Evans Sisson of Quitman; and a granddaughter, Alisabeth Nicole Evans.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Lafayette Evans; and his daughter, Sadie Alisabeth Evans.

THOMAS TATE

Funeral services for Thomas Tate, 79, of Waynesboro, were conducted on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Burkes and Dr. Dave Moran officiating.

Interment followed at Arrington Cemetery.

Born in Millry, Ala., on Wednesday, April 15, 1942 to William Clayton Tate and Florrie Tate, he was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was the founding member and singer for Thomas Tate and the Countian Bluegrass for many years. He was a member of the Mississippi Bluegrass Association.

Countian Bluegrass represented Mississippi at the World's Fair in New Orleans in 1984. He was also a professional wrestler for several years. He worked for Northern Electric for more than 20 years and was retired from Solar Group, where he worked as a Shipping Supervisor.

He died on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 at Brookwood Villa Pesonal Care Home.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Tate of Waynesboro; his daughter, Theresa McCarty of Waynesboro; three sisters, Rosalee Peterson and Louise Ford, both of Millry, and Lora Mitchell of Frankville, Ala.; his granddaughter and her spouse, Chelsea and Chase Bedwell of Waynesboero; and a great-grandchildren, Landree Bedwell.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Clayton Tate; his mother, Florrie Tate; two brothers, James Tate and Leonard Tate; two sisters, Florine Tate and Lois McCary; and his son-in-law, Samuel McCarty.

Born on Jan. 1, 1958, he was a Veteran of the Army Reserve and was employed with Millry Sawmill in Millry, Ala.

He died on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021 in Frankville, Ala.

He is survived by his special friend. Mamie Green of Frankville; his son, Griffin Jerome Conner of Carol Spring, Fla.; his daughter and son-in-law, Sabrina and Cecil Trotter of Shubuta; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and John Lane and Vonda and Harve Sibley; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Charles and Juanita Sibley, Jerry and Carolyn Sibley, Lancer and Shawanna Sibley, Dennis Sibley and Frank Sibley; two grandsons, DeVonta Trotter and Demontravious Trotter; two great-grandchildren, Roma Trotter and Ashton Trotter; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Keith Kelley, 70, of Waynesboro, were conducted on Friday, Dec. 24, 2021 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Terry Williams officiating.

Interment followed at Kelley-Mozingo Cemetery.

Born in Laurel on Friday, Feb. 9, 1951 to William Dave Kelley and Maudie E. Kelley, he had worked as a Forklift Operator with Al-Tom Produces.

He died on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Kelley; three sons, Dave Kelley, Dennis Wayne Kelley and Ricky Duran, all of Waynesboro; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Pamela and Justin Fairchild, Annette and Cleo Hamburg, Jr., and Marilyn Reynolds, all of Waynesboro, and Eva Lynn Duran of Fulton; a brother and son-in-law, E.L. "Gene" and Sue Kelley of Waynesboro; 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Dave Kelley; and his mother, Maudie E. Kelley.
