WHEREAS, on December 16, 2016, Tony D. Overstreet and Patricia

Overstreet, executed a Deed of Trust to Bobby Knox, Trustee for the

benefit of Community Bank of Mississippi, which Deed of Trust was

recorded on December 27, 2016, at Instrument #201604304 in the office of

the Chancery Clerk of Wayne County, Mississippi, to-wit:

WHEREAS, the aforesaid Community Bank of Mississippi, the holder of said

deed of trust and the note secured thereby, substituted Paul D. Walley,

as Trustee therein, as authorized by the terms thereof, by instrument

dated July 13, 2022 and recorded July 19, 2022 at Instrument #202202140

in the office of the aforesaid Chancery Clerk of Wayne County,

WHEREAS, default having been made in the terms and conditions of said

Also, a private easement for a roadway 30 feet in width through and

purpose of a private residence and for no other object or purpose for a

term of 35 years, dating from October 18, 1976, as recorded in Land Deed

Book 497 at Pages 476-480 in the Office of the Chancery Clerk, Wayne

County, Mississippi, reference to which is hereby made.

In accordance with Section 29-3-41 of the MS Code, all bids will be

opened at the regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Wayne

County School District at 3:00 P.M., Monday, September 26, 2022, in the

board room of the Superintendent's Office located at 810 Chickasawhay

Street, Waynesboro, Mississippi 39367.

The Wayne County Board of Education requires a minimum bid of $6.25 per

acre with the lease contract ending June 30, 2025. All bidders must

enclose a bid deposit (cashier's check, money order, or personal

check) in the amount of the annual rent with the bid when submitted. It

is understood the checks and/or money orders will be returned to the

bidders whose bids are not accepted.

The Lessee is required to pay the annual taxes on the property to the

Wayne County Tax Collector. The Lessee is also required to pay a

one-time filing fee to the Wayne County Chancery Clerk upon execution of

lease.

The Wayne County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and

all bids, but if any bid is accepted, the Board will award said lease to

Request for Quotation for Workforce Training Services:

Southern Mississippi Planning & Development District (SMPDD), as the

fiscal agent for the Twin Districts Workforce Development Area (TDWDA),

is seeking training providers who can provide short-term training

services tied to jobs that are in-demand within the Twin Districts

Workforce Development Area. The proposed training will be provided to

participants of the Career STEP program, a workforce development program

funded through a TANF grant by the Mississippi Department of Human

Services. The program is designed to propel eligible participants

towards a career by assisting them with obtaining training that leads to

employment for the first step within a career field.

The short-term training courses that we seek should be one year or less

in duration, and lead/result in an industry-recognized credential,

certificate, and/or license.

Specifications:

* Short term training defined as less than one year in length

* Potential to receive a certificate/credential/license upon

successful course completion

* Training may be provided in person, remotely, and/or a hybrid

version of both

* Training cost must be comparable to other similar courses in the

TDWDA

* The Request for Quotation Form (RFQ) must be completed and submitted

Area of Service: Services will be provided to eligible residents of the

following counties: Clarke, Covington, Forrest, George, Greene, Hancock,

Harrison, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Kemper, Lamar,

Lauderdale, Leake, Marion, Neshoba, Newton, Perry, Pearl River, Scott,

Smith, Stone and Wayne.

SMPDD may accept or reject submittals based on the current training

needs in the TDWDA.
