Funeral services for Larry E. Jackson, 68, of Millry, Ala., will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 from Sandridge Church of God in Millry, with Rev. Larry Daughtery and Rev. Shawn Hales officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 from the church.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Sandridge Cemetery in Millry.

Born in Jackson, Ala., on Thursday, Dec. 11, 1952 to Johnny and Emogene "Polly" Jackson, he was a member of Tabernacle Holiness Church. He was retired as an Insulator with Sentry Insulation in Millry.

He died on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Evelyn Jackson of Millry; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Willie Clyde "Pete" Jackson of Jackson, Donald Irvin and Donnie Jackson and Charles Eugene Jackson, all of Coffeeville, Ala.; his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Ann Jackson and James Silda of Moselle; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gilmore and Doris Holyfield of Millry; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patricia and David Sullivan of Millry; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Jackson; his mother, Emogene "Polly" Jackson; his son, Michael Jackson; a brother, Jerry Wayne Jackson; and a sister-in-law, Dollie Jackson.
