Oct. 24, 1953-April 1, 2022

Funeral services for Charles L. Hutchinson, 68, of Waynesboro, will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, with Rev. John Brown officiating.

Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Waynesboro.

Born in Waynesboro on Saturday, Oct. 24, 1953 to the late J.C. and Ruby Hutchinson, he started working in the oil field for Benton Casing Service at a Crew Pusher and Truck Driver.

After leaving the oil field, he purchased his own log truck and became a Contract Driver for many of the local logging companies. He later owned and operated his own Paint & Body Shop before retiring.

He died on Friday, April 1, 2022 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.

He is survived by his daughter and father-in-law, Amanda and Douglas Holifield of Ellisville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Gary and Brenda Hutchinson of Waynesboro and Archie "Gene" Baggett of Gautier; his sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Mike Schwartz of Moss Point; and two granddaughters, Maci and Ramsey Holifield, both of Ellisville.

June 30, 1958-April 1, 2022

Funeral services for Lee C. Harris, 63, of Shubuta, will be conducted on Saturday, April 8, 2022 from New Life Fellowship Church of God in Christ in Shubuta, with Rev. Ray McDonald officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from the Chapel of McDonald and Sons Funeral Home.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Shubuta.

Born on June 30, 1958, he worked with Morgan Brothers Millwork in Laurel.

He died on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Deodrick and Ebony Odom and Rico and Danielle Arrington, all of Shubuta; four daughters and dwo sons-in-law, Ashley McDonald, Lakitta Cooley, Santana Harris and James Eaton and Markesa Harris and Levernon Howard; his mother, Gloria Faye Falconer; his father, U.L. Harris; his siblings and their respective spouses, Arden and Toney Harris, James and Vera Reid, Lazarus and Dianne Harris, Jackie and Wanda Harris, Willie and Michelle Harris, Michael and Monica Harris, Gary and Catherine Falconer, Stanley and Michelle Harris, William and Denise Harris, Gilbert Pope, Brenda and Carl Mitchell, Linda Harris and Billy Williams and Tenetta and Nathan Howard; 15 grandchildren and special caregivers, Ruthie Harris and Danielle Arrington.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Faye Falconer; his father, U.L. Harris; his brothers, James Reid and Willie Harris; and his sister, Linda Harris Williams.

WILLIAM H. "BILLY" IDDINGS

Sept. 26, 1954-April 2, 2022

Graveside services for William H. "Billy" Iddings, 67, of Buckatunna, were conducted on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from Chason Cemetery in Wayne County, with Rev. John Brown officiating.

Born in New York, N.Y., on Sunday, Sept. 26, 1954 to William Iddings and Lillian Iddings, he worked as a Mechanic.

He is survived by his companion, Lisa Brister of Buckatunna; his daughter, Melena Iddings of Buckatunna; two brothers, Johnny Iddings of Eret and Earnest Iddings of Waynesboro; two sisters, Mary Vines and May Page, both of Waynesboro; and a grandson, Zachary Bunch of Buckatunna.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Iddings; and his mother, Lillian Iddings.

JAMES ARTHUR "JIMMY" KEYES

Graveside services for James Arthur "Jimmy" Keyes, 77, of Waynesboro, were conducted on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from Winchester Cemetery, with Rev. Jim Koen officiating.

Born in Lafayette, Ind., on Saturday, July 8, 1944 to Forrest A. Keyes and Helen McAdams Keyes, he had worked as a Welder with Keyes Welding.

He died on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Keyes of Waynesboro; his son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Michelle Keyes of Waynesboro; a grandson and his spouse, Tyler and Taylor Keyes of Waynesboro; a brother, Bill Keyes of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; a sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Jay Phillips of Waynesboro; several nieces and nephews and his goddaughter, Lorie Busby.

He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest A. Keyes; his mother, Helen McAdams Keyes; his son, David Keyes; his brother, Bobby Keyes; and two sisters, Charlotte Keyes and Betty Hair.

JONATHAN ELMORE

Aug. 30, 1991-April 1, 2022

Funeral services for Jonathan Elmore, 30, of Richton, were conducted on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from West Salem Baptist church, with Brother Frank Rice, Brother Monty Bounds and Brother Perry Robinson officiating.

interment followed at West Salem Cemetery.

Born on Aug. 30, 1991 to Keith and Kay Elmore of Richton, he was the Vice President/Manager of Elmore Machine Shop. Prior to his role at Elmore Machine Shop, he spent approximately 10 years in the oilfield.

While he enjoyed anything outdoors, he was an avid duck hunter. He loved being on the boat, fishing with his kids and spending time with his family and friends. He was highly favorable and never met a stranger. Out of all of his accomplishments in life, he was most proud of his wife and children.

He died on Friday, April 1, 2022.

He is survived by his loving wife of six years, Alyssa Elmore of Richton; his children, Casen Jack and Avery James "A.J. Elmore; his mother, Kay G. Elmore of Richton; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Heather and Matthew Smith of Richton and Holly and Eli Edwards of Richton; two nieces, Madi Beth and Mollie Grace Smith; his nephew, Colton Smith; his grandmother, Frances Gable of Ellisville; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lane and Amy Boutwell of Purvis; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Keith Ashley Elmore; his paternal grandparents, Ottice N. "Jack" and Thelma Lois Elmore; and his maternal grandfather, John A. Gable. Jonathan was a fifth generation member of West Salem Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbearers were Matthew Smith, Eli Edwards, Kollyn Kitchens, Derek Conway, Ethan Burch, Dustin Wyant, Tyler Hopkins and Scotty Elmore as alternate.
