Born in Waynesboro on Sunday, July 12, 1936 to Eugene "Buddy" Jones and
Liza Pearl Jones, she was a member of Trinity First Baptist Church. She
was retired as a Cafeteria Worker with the Wayne County School District.

She died on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025 at her residence.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Susan Kelly
of Ellisville; her daughter, Brenda Kelly Bass of Waynesboro; her
daughter-in-law, Judy Kelly of Waynesboro; her brother, Billy Jones of
Waynesboro; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and
great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Joseph "Joe" Kelly; a daughter, Diane Hooper; two brothers, Jessie
"J.C." Jones and Eugene Jones; and two sisters, Bobbie Faye Douglas and
Betty Maxcey.
