Funeral services for Darres L. Rich, 58, of Waynesboro, will be at 11 
a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home, 
with Rev. W.E. Rankins officiating. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on 
Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 from the Parlor of Funeral Home.
Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Waynesboro 
Cemetery.
Born on Jan. 23, 1967, he was an Auto Mechanic.
He died on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025 at his residence.
He is survived by his daughters, Dalniqia Spencer and Wandashia Spencer; 
his brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Lisa McGill; and five 
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Funeral services for Amber Sherriona Rankin, 31, of McDonough, Ga., were 
conducted on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 from St. Luke Missionary Baptist 
Church, with Rev. Rayford Matthews officiating.
Interment followed at New Life Fellowship Church of God in Christ 
Cemetery in Shubuta.
Bonr on Oct. 4, 1994, she was employed with Renewal Logistics.
She died on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025 at her residence.
She is survived by her daughters, Khalani Tolbert and Khaniyah Rankin of 
McDonough; her brothers, Carlos Rankin, Jr., of McDonough and Robert 
Hill of Waynesboro; and her sisters, Jalyssa Rankin of McDonough and 
Montaesha Loper of Waynesboro.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother.

Funeral services for Rayshun Morrell, Nelson, Sr., 49, of Detroit, 
Mich., and formerly of Waynesboro, were conducted on Saturday, Nov. 22, 
2025 from St. John Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Rayford Matthews 
officiating. The service was livestreamed.
Interment followed at the church cemetery.
Born on July 19, 1976, he was an employee with Wico Metal Products.
He died on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025 at his residence.
He is survived by his son, Rayshun Nelson, Jr.; his daughters, 
Da'Janique Nelson, Kennadi Nelson and Kearstine Nelson; his brother, 
Quan Nelson of Waynesboro; his sister, Quinita Nelson of Hattiesburg; a 
grandchildren; and his parents, Raymond and Arletha Nelson.
He was survived by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Born on Jan. 3, 1961, he was a former Oil Field Laborer.
He died on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025 at Wayne General Hospital.
He is survived by his son, Adrian Pittman of Albany, N.Y.; his brothers 
and sisters-in-law, T.L. and Geraldine Pittman of Shubuta and Freddie 
and Susie Edwards of Sunflower; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Purlie 
and L.Z. Cooley of Shubuta, (his twin sister) Odessa and Larry Rankin of 
Waynesboro, Dorothy and Gary Dixon of Sunflower and Betty and Willie 
Davis of Sunflower; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, two brothers and his 
daughter.
