Funeral services for Robert Parker "R.P." Clark, 83, of Waynesboro will
be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025 from Boyles Chapel Church in
Waynesboro, with Rev. Tom Walker and Dr. Stephen Smith officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025 from
Boyles Chapel Church.

Born in Wayne County County on Wednesday, July 8, 1942 to the late Will
Newton "Boots" and Ruby Rainwater Clark, he graduated from Beat Four
School — known by "R.P." as "The Great School of Minds" Class of 1960.
He served i the United States Air Force and retired as an Oil Field
Consultant.

He died on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025 at Pine View Health and

He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Shawn
Clark, Mitchell and Rhonda Clark and Seth Clark, all of Waynesboro; his
daughter, Shantelle Clark of Mobile, Ala.; 10 grandchildren, Justin
Clark, Erin Clark, Ashton Clark, Lauren Clark, Will Clark, Ethan Clark,
Eli Clarke, Jade Baughman, Robert Clark; a host of great-grandchildren
and a nephew, Jamie Clark.
