CINDY PITTS

April 19, 1965-Sept. 9, 2025

Funeral services for Cindy Pitts, 60, of Waynesboro, will be at 11 a.m. 
on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025 from Liberty Baptist Church, with Rev. Noel 
Gandy and Rev. Phillip Gandy officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 
a.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, 2025 from Liberty Baptist Church.

Born in Mobile, Ala. on Monday, April 19, 1965 to Eugene Duckworth and 
Betty McNally Duckworth, she was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She 
worked as a Plant Supervisors at Sunbeam-Oster and was Owner of both 
Shabby Chic Boutique and The Sunny Sombrero.

She died on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025 at Wayne General Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Dale Pitts of Waynesboro; two 
daughters and a son-in-law, Jill and Noel Gandy of Shenandoah, Iowa and 
McCayla Pitts of Birmingham, Ala.; her stepson and his wife, Colby and 
Beth Pitts of Madison; her mother, Betty McNally Duckworth of 
Waynesboro; her brother, Gene Duckworth of State Line; and four 
grandchildren, Charlie Gandy, Lucy Gandy, Parker Pitts and Claire Pitts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Duckworth.
