why Brian B. Lafferty, Robert C. Lafferty, Amber Lafferty, and Johnathon 
Lafferty, should not be found to be the sole and only heir at law of 
Myra Lafferty, deceased, and the only persons entitled to inherit from 
the said Myra Lafferty. In case of your failure to appear and defend 
against the same, a judgment will be entered granting the relief prayed 
for in said petition.

RE: REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY ASSESSMENT ROLLS
This day came on to be considered by the Board of Supervisor of Wayne 
County, Mississippi, the matter of the assessment of personal property 
for the year 2025 and of real property for the year 2025 and it 
appearing affirmatively to this Board that Debbie Richards, Tax Assessor 
of said County, has completed the assessment of both real and personal 
property for the said year; and filed the rolls with this Board of 
Supervisors, as required by law; that said assessment rolls, and the 
assessments therein contained, were examined and equalized by law, and 
that such equalization was completed more than ten (10) days prior to 
the meeting, held for the purpose of hearing objections to the said 
assessment rolls, and the assessment therein contained, and that this 
Board of Supervisors, at its August 4, 2025 meeting, adopted an order

considering the assessments of persons and property, and hearing

and personal property therein described.

and the assessments therein contained, be and they are hereby accepted,

Road and Bridge Repair Fund Project No. ERBR-77(06). Proposals must be 
submitted no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 
the Board Room of the Wayne County Courthouse located at 609 Azalea 
Drive, Waynesboro, Mississippi. All bids received will be publicly 
opened and read aloud. 
The work shall consist essentially of the following items: Construction 
of 14' x 6' Concrete Box Bridge, 45( Right Forward Skew, grade, 
drain, and pave approaches on 0.142 miles of Dew Mills Road. The 
general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the 
responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all 
plant, labor, equipment, and materials required by the specifications 
and the drawings referred to therein. 
The Wayne County Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all Bidders that 
it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant 
to this advertisement, disadvantaged and women's business enterprises 
will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in response to this 
advertisement and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of 
race, color, sex, age, disability, religion, or national origin in 
consideration for an award. 
The Plans, Specifications, and Contract documents are on file and can be 
viewed and obtained online via the website of the Engineer of Record, 
Lawrence R. Clark, P.E. at www.clarkengineersprojects.com. By use of 
the website the plan holders shall have the option of obtaining a hard 
copy of the Plans and Specifications and shall have the opportunity to 
submit an official bid online. 
All hard copy proposals shall be directed to the attention of the Wayne 
County Board of Supervisors with the outside of the envelope marked 
"ERBR-77(06) Bid Proposal Bridge Replacement Project". The 
Contractor shall indicate the certificate of responsibility number on 
the outside of the envelope. Online bids shall be accepted and opened 
as instructed on the website. 
Each bid shall be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, 
or Bid Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State 
of Mississippi, in the amount of five (5%) of the total bid, payable to 
Wayne County as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to 
furnish a Contract Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of 
the contract amount. 
Basis of Award: The award, if made, will be to the lowest and best 
qualified bidder. The Wayne County Board of Supervisors intends to 
accept the lowest and best bid and reserves the right to reject any 
and/or all bids. The total project contract time as advertised shall be 
100 Working Days from the issuance of a notice to proceed.
Work to be performed shall be in accordance with Mississippi Standard 
Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction, 2004 Edition, 
together with all amendments and/or special provisions and/or addenda to 
the standards dully approved and adopted, unless otherwise noted in 
these specifications.

Executor of the Estate of Frances O. Brewer, deceased, notice is hereby 
given to all persons having claims against said estate to present the 
same to the clerk of this court for probate and registration according 
to the law within ninety (90) days from the first publication of this 
notice or they will be forever barred.
