Born on Oct. 18, 1976, he worked in the fast food industry.

He died on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

He is survived by his wife, Nakia Cooley; five sons, Caleh Broadhead, Demarius McGilvery, Jonte Javier Cooley, Willie Jordell Cooley and Jonathan Lavelle Cooley, Jr.; two daughters, Annarose Jonakia Jaqualine Cooley and Lyla Joneisha Patrice Cooley; his adopted mother, Mae Hellen Agee Cooley; his adopted father, Willis Cooley; seven brothers, Willis Cooley, Cedrick Cooley, Joe Elbert Agee, Jr., Christopher Calhoun, Anthony Calhoun, Reggie Calhoun and Fredrick Calhoun; six sisters, Victoria Dean, Sabrina Cooley, Jennifer Parker, Robin Lynn Agee, Collette Dean Calhoun and Jacquline Dean Calhoun; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.

JAMES LESTER FARRIOR

Funeral services for James Lester Farrior, 81, of Waynesboro, were conducted on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Tommy Davis officiating.

Interment followed at Waynesboro Cemetery with Masonic Lodge Rites.

Born in Waynesboro on Friday, Nov. 1, 1940 to Marion Augusta Farrior and Willie Mamie Walker Farrior, he was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. After retiring from Mississippi Power Company, he continued working as a consultant with numerous electrical contractors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, musician, artist and a huge fan of Elvis Presley.

He died on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his companion of 24 years, Pat Odom of Waynesboro; two sons and daughters-in-law, James Shannon and Shirley Farrior of Victoria, Texas, and Darrell Dewayne and Delores Farrior of Moss Point; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dana Lynn Farrior and John Richardson of Waynesboro and Felecia Farrior and Christopher Brown of Buford, Ga.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janie Carol Farrior and Robert Hyatt of Pelham, Ala., and Wanda Kay Farrior and Lee Lofton of Clara; five grandchildren and their respective spouses, Shaena Farrior, Dakoda and Courtney Farrior, Joseph Cole Burford, Preston DeWayne James and Lane Farrior; three great-grandchildren, Kamri Elaine Farrior, James Braeden Farrior and Kaisin Kade Farrior; extended family members, Glenda Malone and Tom Wolfe, Slidell, La., Karen Malone, Kevin and Kim Malone and Brent and Alice Malone, all of Waynesboro; lifelong friend and cousin, Wayne Brock; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Augusta Farrior; his mother, Willie Mamie Walker Farrior; a daughter, Teresa Tynette Farrior; a son, Lavelle DeLaney "Monk" Farrior; and a brother, Dale Woodson Farrior.

Pallbearers were Dakoda Farrior, Preston James, Cole Burford, Lane Brown, Kevin Malone and Robert Hyatt. Honorary pallbearers were Lee Lofton, Brent Malone and Wayne Brock.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Wayne General Hospital, Dr. Stokely, the many staff members who took care of James, Nurse Rhonda Cooley and the Hospice Aides.

Interment followed at Hollis Creek Cemetery in Wayne County.

Born in Wayne County on Sunday, Nov. 24, 1929 to Tom and Ollie Mae Nicholson, she died on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her son and his spouse, Mark and John Williams of Gulfport; six daughters and their respective spouses, Shirley and Gerald McNeese of Prentiss, Wilda and Royce Williamson of Sumrall, Caffey and Tommy Moree of Sumrall, Mildred and Mark Nolting of Columbia, Betty and Mike McInnis of Prentiss and Debbie and Lynn Barnett of Fairford, Ala.; a stepson, John Williams of Waynesboro; two stepdaughters and their respective spouses, Kathy and Rudy Palmer of Waynesboro and Lisa and Kyle Courtney of New Augusta; four sisters, Maudie Lee Nicholson of Waynesboro, Zarazade Best of Richton, Margaret Freeman of Sand Hill and Tommie Lee Watson of New Orleans, La.; 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and a host of great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, B.W. Williams; her birth parents, Tom and Ollie Mae Nicholson; her adoptive parents, Sol and Fannie Louise West; her son, David Robertson; four brothers, Joe Nicholson, Allen Nicholson, Earl Nicholson and Mack Nicholson; and three sisters, Ruby Watson, Flossie Jordan and Myranda Waller.

Pallbearers were Michael Williamson, Clayton Moree, Bobby Moree, Kevin Raynes, Scottie Moree and Tim Lee. Honorary pallbearer was Michael Beard.

Born in Waynesboro on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1954 to Ernest and Esther James, he worked as a Project Manager in the oil field industry.

He died on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene James of Waynesboro; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Adam James and John and Jesse James, all of Waynesboro; two stepdaughters and their respective spouses, Amy and Wesley Hollinghead of Millry and Sonya Wilson of Wilmer, Ala.; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Fred Staff of Waynesboro; and five step-grandchildren, Jayla, Jaiden, Justus, Makaia and Keegan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest James; his mother, Esther James; his stepson, Chris Wilson; and two brothers, Charles "Butch" James and Lavell James.

Funeral services for Roy B. Odom, Jr., 83, of Waynesboro, were conducted on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Pam Randall officiating.

Interment followed at Geneva-Horne Cemetery in Matherville.

Born in Mississippi on Sunday, Jan. 29, 1939 to Roy B. Odom, Sr., and Nonie Odom, he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a Veteran and served in the United States Army as a Sergeant First Class for 20 years.

He died on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.

He is survived by his nephew, Billy Davis IV of Lafayette, La.; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy B. Odom, Sr.; his mother, Nonie Odom; and his sister, Sheryl Odom.
