DOROTHY B. MCKAY
April 9, 1932-May 8, 2025
Graveside services for Dorothy B. McKay, 93, of Waynesboro, were 
conducted on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from Philadelphus Cemetery in 
Waynesboro, with Rev. Philip McRae officiating.
Born in Alabama on Saturday, April 9, 1932 to the late Zola Ree and 
William Hardy Bishop, she was a member of Philadelphus Presbyterian 
Church. She retired as a Bookkeeper at Ramey's Grocery Store.
She died on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at South Central Regional Medical 
Center in Laurel.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Steve 
Breland of Laurel and Ellen and Johnny Hayes of Waynesboro; her son, 
Eddie McKay of Ellisville; her sister, Ann Stanley of Pensacola, Fla.; 
seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. McKay; her parents, 
Zola Ree and William Hardy Bishop; her daughter, Patricia D. Andrews; 
her granddaughter, Amber McKay; her grandson, Brent H. Hutto; two 
sisters, Grace Davis and Bessie Fleming; her brother, Joel Bishop; and 
her great-granddaughter, Amber Mendoza.

JACQUES LEYMON "JACKIE"
MCDONALD
Aug. 11, 1959-May 3, 2025
Funeral services for Jacques Leymon "Jackie" McDonald, 65, of 
Waynesboro were conducted on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from St. Luke 
Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Marvin Chapman officiating.
Interment followed at Waynesboro Cemetery.
Born on Aug. 11, 1959, he was a forearm Forklift Driver with 
Sunbeam-Oster.
He died on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from Asbury Hospice House in 
Hattiesburg.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia McDonald; his sons, Jacques 
McDonald, Jr., and Jermaine McDonald; his brothers and sister-in-law, 
Kenny McDonald and Gerald and Michelle McDonald; his sister, Andrea 
Lacey; three grandchildren, six sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law.

VIVIAN "DIANE" MILLS
March 13, 1946-May 5, 2025
Funeral services for Vivian "Diane" Mills, 79, of Kingsville, Ohio, 
were conducted on Friday, May 9, 2025 from White House Chapel in 
Waynesboro, with Rev. Tommy Mills, Joe Mills, Eddie Carmichael, Rev. 
Drew Holifield and Rev. Mitchell Smith officiating.
Interment followed at White House Cemetery in Waynesboro.
Born in Waynesboro on Wednesday, March 13, 1946 to the late Joe Brown 
Pitts and Dovie Walley, she retired as a Nurse with Weirton Center in 
December 2015. She was a member of Kingsville First Baptist Church in 
Kingsville. She loved cooking, traveling and spending time with her 
family.
She died on Monday, May 5, 2025 at her residence, surrounded by her 
loving family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Tommy Joe Mills; her 
son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Tess Mills of North Kingsville, Ohio; 
her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Mills and Eddie Carmichael of Grove 
City, Ohio; four grandchildren and their respective spouses, Dustin 
Mills of Kingsville, Adam and Allison Carmichael of Grove City, Alyssa 
Carmichael of Columbus, Ohio and Caitlin Mills and Dominic Parks of 
Columbus; and five great-grandchildren, Vivian Mills, Hank Mills, Milo 
Carmichael, Mace Carmichael and Everett Parks.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dovie Pitts; her father, Joe 
Brown Pitts; and her siblings, John Autry Pitts, Ernestine Floyd Hutto, 
Hertha Lorena Davis, William Garland Pitts, Garner Leon Pitts, Edith 
Jean Cochran, William "Bill" Stanford, Samuel Joe Pitts and Jerry 
"Mack" Pitts.
