JESSICA DUSTINE JOHNSON
Sept. 24, 2000-April 30, 2025
Graveside services for Jessica Dustine Johnson, 24, of Waynesboro, were 
conducted on Monday, May 5, 2025 from Lee's Chapel Cemetery in 
Waynesboro, with Rev. James Walley, Rev. W.E. Hutcherson and Rev. Edward 
Bean officiating.
Born in Bay Minette, Ala., on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2000 to Jeffery D. 
Johnson and Celeste Marie Thomas, she was a member of Harvest Temple 
Church. She came into this world a fighter and gave her all, in which 
her middle name of "Dustine" means.
She graduated from Wayne County High School in 2019 and she was a 
blessing to all who met her. She lived a full life and loved with all 
her heart.
She traveled to many places and saw a lot of wonderful places with her 
Gemaw and PawPaw. She lived her best life enjoying her time watching 
movies, receiving balloons and gifts from her daddy, listening to music 
and going to church. She gave many smiles to all who greeted her.
Her loved ones know that she's dancing the Streets of Gold in Heaven 
with her now perfect body. She will be deeply missed by so many left to 
cherish her special life.
She died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at her residence, 
surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her father, Jeffery D. Johnson; her grandparents, 
Harold and Katherine Johnson; four sisters, Anna Johnson, Casey Thomas, 
Haley Thomas and Emily Larrimore; her uncle and aunt, Mark and Kelly 
Johnson; four cousins, Jordan, Kip, Maddox and Jayden; and many other 
family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Celeste Marie Thomas.

CHANDLER BRETT PUGH
Aug. 6, 1997-May 1, 2025
Funeral services for Chandler Brett Pugh, 27, of Buckatunna, were 
conducted on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral 
Home, with Rev. Cheryl Lankford officiating.
Interment followed at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro.
Born in Waynesboro on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1997 to Oscar Evan Pugh and 
Crystal Waite Pugh, he was a member of Cheryl Lankford Ministries. He 
worked as a Mechanic with Seadrill. He carried a lot of titles in life, 
but his greatest accomplishment of all was being Baker's "Daddy."
He died on Thursday, May 1, 2025 in Buckatunna.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cassidy Beasley Pugh of Buckatunna; 
his parents, Crystal Waite Pugh and Oscar Evan Pugh of Shubuta; his son, 
Baker Ross Pugh of Buckatunna; his brother and sister-in-law, Evan Blake 
and Cassidy Pugh of Hattiesburg; his grandmother, Gail Waite Sheets of 
Frankville, Ala.; his father- and mother-in-law, Shannon and Rhonda 
Beasley of Buckatunna; his grandmother-in-law, Rev. Cheryl Lankford of 
State Line; his sister-in-law, Carley Beasley of Buckatunna; his nephew, 
Jansen Jhett Pugh; his niece, Tinleigh June Pugh; two aunts, Tanya 
Waldron and Angie Lankford, both of State Line; and a host of aunts, 
uncles, cousins, friends and other family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Walter Waite and J. 
Willard Pugh; and his grandmother, Betty Jane Pugh.

RANDY HAIR
April 22, 1951-April 29, 2025
Randy Hair, 74, of Waynesboro, died on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Wayne 
General Hospital.
Born in Chatom, Ala., on Sunday, April 22, 1951 to Delbert Lonnie Hair 
and Louise Jackson, he was a skilled Carpenter and Bricklayer for many 
years.
He is survived by his son, Lonnie Thomas Hair; his daughter and 
son-in-law, Miranda Lee and Rick Revette; three brothers; Ralph Hair, 
Ronnie Wayne Hair and Roger Glenn Hair; four grandchildren and their 
respective spouses, Karlee and Logan Atchison, Sebrina and Jabe Powe, 
Savannah Hair and Dalton and Lucy Revette; and six great-grandchildren, 
Tate Atchison, Drake Atchison, Rubie Moody, Ava Moody, Mylee Powe and 
Harvey Revette.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Lonnie Hair; his mother, 
Louise Jackson; two brothers, Delbert Stanley Hair and Ricky Lynn Hair; 
and a great-grandson, Mason Reid Hair.
