WOODROW "WOODY" STRICKLAND

July 5, 1960-March 29, 2025

Funeral services for Woodrow "Woody" Strickland, 64, of Laurel, were 
conducted on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from the chapel of Freeman Funeral 
Home, with Rev. Robert Boutwell officiating.

Interment followed at Strengthford Baptist.

Born in Mobile, Ala., on Tuesday, July 5, 1960 to Woodrow Strickland, 
Sr., and Monnie Rae Strickland, he was a member of Strengthford Baptist 
Church. He worked at a Truck Driver/Spotter with Billy Barnes 
Enterprises.

He died on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at South Central Regional Medical 
Center in Laurel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Twana Strickland of 
Strengthford; his father, Woodrow Strickland, Sr., of Mobile, Ala.; his 
son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Jenna Strickland of Mobile; two 
daughters and sons-in-law, Rahael and Alan Munger of Dallas, Ga., and 
Loren and Breck Mills of Clara; his brother and sister-in-law, Stanley 
and Sandra Strickland of Idaho; his sister and brother-in-law, Monica 
and Neal Butler of Mobile; seven grandchildren, Jase Mills, Dawson 
Mills, Jonah Munger, Aslan Munger, Russel Strickland and Henry 
Strickland; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Monnie Rae Strickland.

KENNY WAYNE REYNOLDS

July 28, 1959-March 25, 2025

Funeral services for Kenny Wayne Reynolds, 65, of Waynesboro, were 
conducted on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from the chapel of Freeman Funeral 
Home, with Rev. Tommy Davis and Rev. Phillip Gandy officiating.

Interment followed at Liberty Cemetery in Waynesboro.

Born in Waynesboro on Tuesday, July 28, 1959 to the late Marie and James 
Buddy Reynolds, he was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He retired as 
a Heavy Equipment Operator with the Wayne County Supervisor's Office.

He died on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at South Central Regional Medical 
Center in Laurel.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Robin Reynolds of 
Waynesboro; his daughter, Haley Reynolds of Waynesboro; his brother and 
sister-in-law, Mitchell and Janet Reynolds of Florence; his sister, 
Patricia McGiboney of Saraland, Ala.; three grandchildren, Bryston 
Wilson, Madi-Kalire Wilson and Zoe-Ana Wilson; two bonus grandchildren, 
Paige Tisdale and Hunter Wilson; and close friend, Rick "Baby."

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and James Buddy Reynolds; 
and a son, Charles Matthew Reynolds.
