Funeral services for JoBeth Walley, 69, of Waynesboro, were conducted on
Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with
Dr. Steve Smith officiating.

Born in Slaton, Texas, on Saturday, Nov. 19, 1955 to JoAn and Bobby
James, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro. She
retired as Owner and Operator of Tailored Tips & Toes.

She died on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Forrest General Hospital in

She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Vince Walley of
Waynesboro; her mother, JoAn James of Baton Rouge, La.; her son and
daughter-in-law, Charles and Tracy Holifield, Jr., of Waynesboro; two
daughters and a son-in-law, Heather Hopkins of Pace, Fla., and Tosha and
Chris Hudson of Waynesboro; a stepson and his spouse, Tucker and Natalie
Walley of Waynesboro; a stepdaughter and her spouse, Amanda and Corey
Ward of Waynesboro; her brother and sister-in-law, Robby and Monica
James of Waco, Texas; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Debra James of
Baton Rouge and Sandra and Joe Brauer of Albany, La.; 11 grandchildren
and their respective spouses, Tyler and Hailey Hopkins, Dalton Hudson,
Mailey Hopkins, Cole Holifield, Cade Holifield, Ema Hudson, Jasen
Walker, Charlee Millican, Chesleigh Walley, Phoebe Walley and Walley
Ward; three great-children, Everlee Hopkins, Toxey Hopkins and Elizabeth
Hudson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Born on Saturday, Jan. 11, 1941 to the late James A. Cochran and Ruby
Lee Beard, she was a member of Little Rock Assembly of God Church. She
retired as a Seamstress with Wells Lamont. Her family will always
remember her as being the best wife, mom and grandmother.

Ryan and Megan McCarty, Bidgette and Jeremy Jordan, Corey and Christy
McCarty, Alex McCarty, Reggie and Camille Parker, Lakisha and Robert
West, Brandi and Dustin Freeman and Brianna and Kaleb Smith; 20
