REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Winchester Cemetery Association is seeking bids for lawn care, 
mowing and weed eating of the cemetery grounds.
Bids should include the cost for each mowing and maintenance service, 
along with the contact information of the responsible person for the 
company performing the services. The winning bidder must have verifiable 
insurance and provide a certificate of liability insurance.
Bids will be accepted until Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025. The Cemetery 
Association Board will choose the winning bid at its Annual Meeting on 
Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked on the outside 
with the following: "Winchester Cemetery Lawn Care Bids, Attention: Paul 
Keane." Bids can be mailed to P.O. Box 509, Waynesboro, MS or dropped 
off at the offices of The Wayne County News, located at 716 South 
Street.

CITY OF WAYNESBORO
The City of Waynesboro is seeking bids to asphalt the road and parking 
lot for the Waynesboro Athletic Fields.
The job will consist of approximately 30,500 square yards which will be 
a 2.5" lift of HMA Base Course (4.279 Tons) and a 1.5" lift of HMA 
Surface Course (2,574 Tons). All bids should include per Ton Price and 
mobilization. Tack Coat should be absorbed in the per ton price.
Sealed bids labeled as "Waynesboro Athletic Fields" will be accepted 
until 10:00 a.m. on March 7, 2025. Bids are intended to be awarded March 
10, 2025 with the work to be completed between March 11 and April 4, 
2025. Plat and inspection available upon request. For further
