Dixie Electric Power Association provided the following update on efforts to restore power to those affected by Wednesday night's storms:

As of noon, 190 members remain without power. Trees and heavy limbs litter the roads, taking poles and power lines down with them. Our broken pole count is now north of 75 poles. Our servicemen, linemen, contract crews, mutual aid crews, and right-of-way crews continue to press on, running on determination rather than sleep. We will allow them to work a little longer before sending them home to rest. We anticipate power restoration will continue until tomorrow.
Again, if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.
