WPD searching for missing teen

The Waynesboro Police Department is looking for a 19-year-old male who 
has been missing since Wednesday.

According to WPD Investigations Commander Don Hopkins, John Quavontae 
Gandy, 19, has been missing since around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8. 
He was last known to be in the Holly Bush Church Road area.

The family has not seen nor heard from him since, and his cell phone is 
not being answered. The photo with this story is from roughly two weeks 
ago.

The WPD has entered his information on NCIC.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gandy is asked to call the
