Wayne County High School's varsity football team rolled up nearly 400 yards rushing and raced past the Bulldogs of Vancleave, 56-34, Thursday night to move up to a No. 3 seed in the Class 5A playoffs.

The War Eagles will travel to Ellisville on Friday, Nov. 15 to take on South Jones, the No. 2 seed in District 3-5A.

WCHS rolled up 366 yards rushing on 34 carries and dominated the game throughout. It was easily the best performance of the season for the War Eagles.
