MARY ANNIE (WALKER) EZELL

Funeral services for Mary Annie (Walker) Ezell, 87, of Waynesboro, were 
conducted on Monday, Oct. 14, 2024 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral 
Home, with Dr. Allen Stanton, Rev. Jim Riley and Rev. Paul Nasekos 
officiating.
Interment followed at Waynesboro Cemetery.
Born in Waynesboro on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1937 to the late Doug and Mary 
Walker, she was a member of Waynesboro Presbyterian Church. She retired 
as a Teacher and Principal for the Wayne County School District.
She died on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 at her residence in Waynesboro.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Craig W. and Pat Ezell 
of Ellisville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia A. and Ronnie 
Lawson and Sharon K. Ezell, all of Waynesboro; four grandchildren and 
their respective spouses, Caroline and John Davis West, Ty and Courtney 
Lawson, Caitlyn Lawson and William and Rebecca Ezell; and five 
great-grandchildren, Allie Lawson, Brayden Lawson, Lowen Lawson, Sam 
West and Anna Grace Ezell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig L. Ezell; her parents, 
Doug and Mary Walker; her brother, Edward O'Neil Walker; and her 
sister, Sylvia Walker DeWolf.

IMOGENE "JEAN" WEST ANDERSON
Oct. 22, 1930-Oct. 10, 2024
A memorial services for Imogene "Jean" West Anderson, 93, of 
Waynesboro, will be conducted in November.
Born on Oct. 22, 1930, her love language was cooking for friends and 
neighbors. Later in life, she actually won first place in a cooking 
competition. She loved traveling the United States in her RV, meeting 
new friends and enjoying new adventures.
If you knew Jean, you knew that she loved God, her family and her dogs. 
She also enjoyed reading books, music, gardening and hummingbirds.
After her stroke in 2016, she resided at Brookwood Villa. Although 
everyone will miss her, they take joy in knowing she lived her life to 
the fullest.
She died on Oct. 10, 2024 at Brookwood Villa in Waynesboro.
She is survived by her children and their respective spouses, Lamar and 
Wanda West of Waynesboro, Joyce and Gary Toupes of Covington, La., Gary 
and Theresa West of Greensboro, N.C., June Kittrell of State Line and 
Benny West of Waynesboro; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; 
and her sisters, Jewel Bailey of Las Vegas, Nev., and Irene Davis of 
Ellisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Houston West; her husband, 
Tommy Andeson; her parents, Stance and Pinky Davis; her brother, Stance 
Davis, Jr.; her son-in-law, Jimmy Kittrell; and two granddaughters, 
Melinda Sullivan and Amanda West.
Jones and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
DUSTIN LEE WILLIAMS
June 19, 1988-Oct. 8, 2024
Funeral services for Dustin Lee Williams, 36, of Buckatunna, were 
conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral 
Home, with Rev. Chip Phillips officiating.
Born in Laurel on Sunday, June 19, 1988 to Cornelius Williams and Lisa 
Michelle Dennis, he was a member of Denham Baptist Church. He worked as 
a Floor Hand and Crane Operator in the oil field industry.
He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and loved going fishing every 
chance he got.
He died on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024 in Sorrento, La.
He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Brittany Williams; his 
daughter, Kavie Williams; his mother, Lisa Michelle Dennis; his 
stepmother, Nita Williams; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Brandon 
and Kacy Williams, Austin Williams and Joshua Walker; his sister, 
Elizabeth Doby; his nieces and nephews, Aubree Williams, David Ringer, 
Kinsley Ringer and Alivia Williams; and his maternal grandmother, 
Elizabeth Dennis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cornelius Williams; his maternal 
grandfather, L.D. Dennis; and his paternal grandmother, Retha Matthews.
