Born in Laurel on Friday, April 6, 1945 to the late Willie P. and Elma
V. Johnson, she was a member of Waynesboro First Methodist Church. She
retired as a Special Education Teacher with the Wayne County School
District.

She died on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024 at a Wayne General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband and 54 years, Charles W. Seeger; two sons
and a daughter-in-law, Jason and Deann Seeger and Brian Seeger, all of
Waynesboro; her daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Martin Arnold of
Fairmount, Ga.; and three grandchildren and their respective spouses,
Jonathan Seeger, Melissa and Dalton Reid and Sophie Seeger.

Born on Monday, Jan. 10, 1977 to James and Edna Thompson, in the last
year he had overcome so many obstacles that life threw at him such as
his addictions. He moved to Louisiana to get away from his temptations
here. He was clean for more than a year.

He was back working where he began as a 15-year-old, in the oilfield
that he knew and loved. He gave his life back to the Lord in April of
this year. In June, he started having signs of heat stroke. Little did
he know his life would forever change.

In early July, he was diagnosed with a very rare disease called MOGAD.
He never saw the outside of those hospital walls again. Thankfully, he
knew where he was going when he passed away.

Annie P. Leggett, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro
and the Order of the Eastern Star. She retired as a Financial Officer in
the banking industry.
