LINDA FAYE (SINGLETON) BRADLEY

Funeral services for Linda Faye (Singleton) Bradley, 72, of Buckatunna, 
will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 from the Chapel of Freeman 
Funeral Home, with Rev. Leland James, Jr., officiating. Visitation will 
be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024 from the Parlor of Freeman 
Funeral Home.
Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Jones-Hill 
Cemetery in Millry, Ala.
Born in Millry on Wednesday, March 19, 1952 to the late A.C. Singleton 
and Margie Nell Bennett, she was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. 
She retired an LPN at Wayne General Hospital.
She died on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center 
in Jackson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William D. Bradley of 
Buckatunna; her son, Brad Bradley of Buckatunna; three grandchildren, 
Brayden Bradley, Cole Bradley and Kambryn Bradley, all of Buckatunna; 
and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.
She was preceded in death by her father, A.C. Singleton; her mother, 
Margie Nell Bennett; and her daughter-in-law, Courtney Bradley.

Funeral services for Rev. John L. "Johnny" Walker, 77, of Winona, 
were conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024 from First Baptist Church of 
Winona, with Rev. Rupert Ingram, Rev. Jay Anderson and Dr. Jim Futral 
officiating.
Interment followed at Winona Garden of Memory.
Born to Guy and Louise Graham Walker on Nov. 15, 1946, he was a member 
of McCarley Baptist, Winona Rotary Club and the Mississippi Baptist 
Convention. He played an instrumental role in the construction of the 
Christ's Cross at the Crossroads.
He was Pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church of Winona since his 
forced retirement due to Parkinson's Disease. If you knew him, he 
loved you.
He died on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024 at his home in Winona.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores Parker Walker of Winonna; his 
daughter and son-in-law, Candace Walker and Russell Durham of Winona; 
his sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence and Roseann Walker of Madison 
and Clint and April Walker of McCarley; his sisters and brothers-in-law, 
Ann and Rew Covert of Greer, S.C., and Dot and Richard Kennedy of 
Gownsville, S.C.; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a 
host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Louise Graham Walker 
and L.C. and Lucille Walker Bailey; and five brothers.
Pallbearers were Russell Durham, Noah Durham, Saxon Durham, Aiden 
Walker, John Carter Walker and Reed Tharp.

Funeral services for Yancy Hugh Taylor, 81, of Waynesboro, were 
conducted on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral 
Home, with Rev. Drew Holifield and Rev. Kenny Morris officiating.
Interment followed at Serenity Gardens in Waynesboro.
Born in Waynesboro on Saturday, Feb. 6, 1943 to the late Vernon and Ena 
Taylor, he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He retired as a 
Market Supervisor with Ramey's.
He died on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024 at his residence, surrounded by his 
loving family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Mary Taylor of 
Waynesboro; his son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Ladean Taylor of 
Bossier City, La.; five stepsons and their respective spouses, Stephen 
and Sabrina Malone of Laurel, Harold and Shirley Malone of Richton, 
Corey and Shanna Malone of Morgan City, La., Ron and Liz Malone of 
Leesburg, Va., and Chris Malone of Gautier; two brothers and 
sisters-in-law, Gary Lynn and Regina Taylor of Saraland, Ala., and 
Ellery and Patty Taylor of Gulf Shores, Ala.; three grandchildren and 
their respective spouses, Ericka Taylor Thomas, Derek and Claire Taylor 
and Haley Mills Waller; 15 step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, 
16 step-great-grandhildren, a host of nieces and nephews and his 
son-in-law and his spouse, Duane and Shelia Mills.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Ena Taylor; his 
daughter, Shelly Taylor Mills; his brother, James Vernon "Jimmy" 
Taylor, Jr.; and his sister, Ruby Nell Taylor Lynn.

was a Certified Nurses Aide.

She is survived by her husband, Styron Morgan; her son and 
daughter-in-law, Derrick and Cecelia Morgan of Waynesboro; a grandson 
she raised as a son and his wife, Kendarius and Dakeya Morgan of 
Waynesboro; her daughter and son-in-law, Candace and Stacy Houston of 
Florence; her brothers and sister-in-law, Robert Earl Hayes and Daniel 
and Ruby Hayes, all of Waynesboro; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary 
and John Frost of Jacksonville, Fla., Cherry and George Davis of 
Meridian and Vivian Jones of Waynesboro; a host of grandchildren and a

Waynesboro; his father, Donta Gray of Waynesboro; his brother, Jeremiah

Jalaya Roberts, all of Waynesboro, and Diane Loper of Laurel; his

Secretary.

She is survived by her daughter, Derosa Thomas; her sister, Hattie 
Harris; her granddaughter and her spouse, Latrina and Darryl Johnson;

He is survived by his wife, Cleo Moye of Beaumont; his sons and
