The City will furnish the limestone, sand and top soil.

Construction time line is 160 calendar days.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND INVITATION TO BID FOR CELLULAR ADVANCED

METERING

INFRASTRUCTURE (AMI) SYSTEM FOR GAS METERING

Chickasawhay Natural Gas District ("CNGD" or "District" or

"Utility") will receive sealed written Proposals/Bids for 3,274

Cellular Automated Metering (AMI) Endpoints with all associated

appurtenances, equipment, network infrastructure, equipment, hardware,

software and infrastructure. Installation of the AMI endpoints will be

conducted by current staff of the District. The Proposals/Bids shall

include installation of software, and any and all training for District

staff on use of the software and any hardware, integration services and

warranty. The Proposals/Bids should include and/or clearly identify all

annual prices and/or fees for maintenance or service, plus any annual

cellular fees and any other related fees or expenses to maintain and

have a fully functional cellular AMI system. Proposals/Bids will be

received at the Chickasawhay Natural Gas District office, 306 South

Archusa Avenue, Quitman, MS, 39355, until 11:00 a.m., C. S. T. on

Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at which time all Proposals/Bids will be

publicly opened and read aloud.

All Proposals/Bids shall give the amount of each bid and must be signed

by the Bidder. All proposals/bids must be guaranteed for sixty (60)

days. Each Proposal/Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing

on the outside the name of the Bidder, its address, and plainly marked

"Proposal for AMI System for Gas Metering." If forwarding by mail,

the sealed envelope containing the Proposal/Bid must be enclosed in

another envelope for mailing. The District may consider as irregular any

Proposal/Bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the

provisions hereof, and may waive any informalities or reject any and all

Proposals/Bids. Any Proposal/Bid may be withdrawn prior to the

above-scheduled time for the opening of Proposals/Bids. Any Proposal/Bid

received after the time and date specified above will not be considered.

A Proposal/Bid shall be deemed as having been awarded when formal notice

of award shall have been provided by the District to the Bidder. The

Bidder to whom the Contract shall have been awarded will be required to

execute three (3) copies of a Contract furnished by the District. In

case of the Bidder's refusal or failure to do so within twnety (20)

days after receipt of the Contract from the District, Bidder will be

considered to have abandoned all rights and interests in the award and

the work readvertised for Proposals/Bids as the District may elect.

The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all

Proposals/Bids, and to waive defects, irregularities or informalities in

any Proposal/Bid.
