American Legion dedicates Carlisle headstone

Submitted/The Wayne County News Members of Waynesboro's Jake W. Lindsey American Legion Post No. 70 and family members of local veteran Johnny Carlisle gathered on Saturday, July 27 for a military headstone marker dedication for the Bronze Star recipient interred at Wayne County's White House Cemetery. Carlisle's family in attendance included, front row from left, included his brothers-in-law, Frank Henderson and Tony Dorsey; his sister, Linda Dorsey; his brother, Wayne Carlisle; his niece, Melissa Davis; and his nephew, Larry Henderson.
