CHARLOTTE ANN "CHA BABY" MOSLEY
April 17, 1965-July 6, 2024
Memorial services for Charlotte Ann "Cha Baby" Mosley, 59, of
Waynesboro, were conducted on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from the Chapel of
Freeman Funeral Home, with Seth Sullivan officiating.
Interment followed at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro.
Born in Waynesboro on Saturday, April 17, 1965 to the late C.W.
"Bill" and Barbara Jean (Jones) Mosley, she was a member of
Waynesboro Church of Christ. She retired from accounting with Piping
Supply Company, working for more than 35 years.
She died on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Pine View Health and
Rehabilitation in Waynesboro.
She is survived by her son, Blake Johnson of Statesboro, Ga.; four
brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Karen Mosley of Laurel, Jerry
"Juice" and Lynn Mosley of Waynesboro, Carey and Cathy Mosley of
Laurel and Larry and Ethel Mosley of Buckatunna; her sister and
brother-in-law, Jackie Mosley and Robert DeLeo of Ooltewah, Tenn., and a
host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.W. "Bill" and Barbara
Jean (Jones) Mosley.

DOUGLAS WAYNE "COON HUNTER" CRAGER
Aug. 27, 1962-July 5, 2024
Funeral services for Douglas Wayne "Coon Hunter" Crager, 61, of
State Line, were conducted on Monday, July 8, 2024 from Waynesboro First
Assembly of God Church in Waynesboro, with Rev. Mark Guy and Rev. Jim
Koen officiating.
Interment followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Buckatunna.
Born in Waynesboro on Monday, Aug. 27, 1962 to the late Douglas Leon
Crager, Sr., and Lottie Bell Crager, he was a member of the Independent
Community Church. He retired and Owner and Operator of T & W Trucking.
He died on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital West in
Mobile, Ala.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Teresa Crager of State
Line; his son and daughter-in-law, Cody and McKenzie Holifield Crager of
Waynesboro; a woman that he raised as a daughter, Crystal Hopkins of
Millry, Ala.; his sister, Lottie Marie Fondren of State Line; two
grandchildren, Madison Crager and Dakota "Coco" Crager; a host of
nieces and nephews and his fur baby, Queen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas Leon Crager, Sr., and
Lottie Bell Crager; his brother, Douglas Leon Crager, Jr.; and a niece,
Bridgette Crager.

DR. WILLIAM CHARLES "BILL" TODD
Dec. 7, 1932-July 4, 2024
Funeral services for Dr. William Charles "Bill" Todd, 94, of Silas,
Ala., were conducted on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from Isney Baptist Church
in Silas, Ala., with Rev. David Roberson and Rev. Fred Toomey
officiating.
Interment followed at Isney Cemetery in Silas.
Born in Tarrant, Ala., on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 1932 to the late Roy C.
Todd, Sr., and Mary Dee (Jones) Todd, he was a faithful and dedicated
member of Isney Baptist Church.
Dr. Todd received his BS, MS and EdD from the University of Alabama. He
retired in 1996 after 27 years as a Professor at Louisiana College and
was later awarded the title Professor Emeritus. In 2006, he was asked to
return to Louisiana College where he taught for 10 more years, retiring
in 2016 at the age of 84.
He died on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at his daughter's residence in
Alexandria, La.
He is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Pamela Ann Todd
of Pineville, La., Tylitha Todd and Glen Whatley of Dry Prong, La., and
Amanda Todd and Jeff Kenimer of Alexandria; five grandchildren and their
respective spouses, Todd and Becca Whatley, Mattie and Jake Crump,
Hannah Kenimer, Belle Kenimer and Asher Kenimer; and two
great-grandchildren, Presley Kenimer and Cypress Crump.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Totsy Becton Todd; his parents,
Roy C. Todd, Sr., and Mary Dee (Jones) Todd; his brother, Roy C. Todd,
Jr.; and two sisters, Faye Todd Thomas and Doris Todd Webster.
Pallbearers were Bret Becton, Thad Becton, Nelson Toomey, Leroy Ladner,
Ronnie Mason and Robert Moody.

JAMES "JIM" EDWARD EASTERLING
april 16,1948-July 3, 2024
Graveside services for James "Jim" Edward Easterling, 76, of Laurel,
were conducted on Monday, July 8, 2024 from Mill Creek Church of God
Cemetery in Laurel, with Brother Ken Harrison officiating.
Born on Friday, April 16, 1948, he was a lifelong resident of Laurel.
First and foremost a devoted husband, father and friend, he also worked
as a carpenter and homebuilder for 50 years. During that time, he built
many houses for family and friends, houses that will stand as a
testament to his life and labor long after his passing.
"We may build the house, but it is God that established the home."
He died on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at his residence in Laurel.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, James Benjamin and
Brandi Easterling, Eric Edward Easterling and Blaine and Kera Hoffman;
and his grandchildren and their respective spouses, James Bryce and Lexi
Easterling and Lilah Hoffman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Holifield Easterling; his
parents, Johnnie Curtis and Edith Walters Easterling; and his sisters,
Jeraldine Pryor, Jan Mitchell and Sherry Davis.
Pallbearers were Benji Easterling, Eric Easterling, Bryce Easterling,
Blaine Hoffman, Chuck Davis and Chris Walters.
As a final service to his wife, who loved missions work, he asked that,
in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mill Creek Church of God
Missionary Fund, 2247 Mill Creek Rd., Laurel, MS 39443.

Funeral services for Desmond Jerael Frost, 35, of Waynesboro, were
conducted on Friday, July 5, 2024 from Pineville Missionary Baptist
Church, with Rev. Sam McDonald, Jr., officiating.
Interment followed at Pineville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born on March 3, 1989, he was a Manager with McDonald's.
He died on Wednesday, June 26, 2026 in Laurel.
He is survived by his mother, Connie Arlessee Powe Frost; his father,
Donald Gene Frost; two brothers, Donald Jerraze and Cameron Frost; a
niece, Jaliyah; his nephews, Braxton, Jaxon and Dreyden Frost; his
adoring grandmother, Velma Frost; his aunts and their respective
spouses, Emerr and Dave, Scherece, Kentrell, Catina, Billie, Margaret,
Carolyn Powe and Rosa Frost; his uncles and their respective spouses,
John Luke, Marshon and Minnie, Larry Powe, Auther Ray, Lamar and Annie
Jean and Scott and Tajuana Frost; four great-aunts; a host of cousins
and a special friend in Franchisea Davis.
He was preceded in death by Willie Curtis and Mrs. Retha Powe; two aunts
and five uncles.
McDonald and Son Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of
