JERRY W. REYNOLDS
Dec. 27, 1953-April 29, 2024
Funeral services for Jerry W. Reynolds, 70, of Waynesboro, were
conducted on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral
Home, with Brother Michael Mooney officiating.
Born in Waynesboro on Dec. 27, 1953 to William R. Reynolds and Mary
Brewer Reynolds, he was raised in Michigan, where he enjoyed a 30-year
career with National Steel/Great Lakes until his retirement in February
of 2003.
Following his retirement from Great Lakes, he and his wife moved to Past
Christian then in 2006 settled in Waynesboro, where he worked as a
Supervisor with Odom Industries for 11 years.
He loved life and living it fully. His great pleasures in life were his
family and friends, riding his Harley, working in his yard, singing
karaoke, belly laughts and making others laugh.
Following a long illness, he died on Monday, April 29, 2024 at his home,
with his wife, Sandy, by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra L. Reynolds of Waynesboro; his
son and daughter-in-law, Joshua M. and Brandi Reynolds of Traverse City,
Mich.; his daughter-in-love and her spouse, Kelly and Kevin Riley of
Brighton, Mich.; his grandchildren, Jordan and Josie Reynolds, Zachary,
Alexander and Katie Mae Zukowski, and Kellen Riley; his brothers-in-law,
Bob Luker and Kyle Kline.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Rudolph Reynolds; his
mother, Mary Brewer Reynolds; and his sister, Deborah Luker.
Serving as pallbearers were Joshua Reynolds, Steven Micallef, Jason
Micallef, Keith Land, Paul Newman and Kyle Earwood. Honorary pallbearers
were Bob Luker, Bennie Manning, Dennis Manning, Gary Manning, Ronnie
Manning and Fred Stiles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to
Shriners' Hospital for Children.

Graveside services for Cindy Marie Herrington, 63, of Shubuta, were
conducted on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from Goodwater Cemetery in Clarke
County, with Rev. Pat Patterson officiating.
Born in Laurel on Thursday, July 14, 1960 to Lee Mosley and Shirley
Mosley, she was a member of Eucutta Independent Church.
She died on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at South Central Regional Medical
Center in Laurel.
She is survived by her father, Lee Mosley of Shubuta; her sons and
daughters-in-law, Justin and Nicole Herrington of Laurel and Kenny and
Becky Mosley; her daughter and son-in-law, Bridget and Andrew Pittman,
all of Shubuta; two sisters, and a brother-in-law, Debbie and Rodney
Winn and Josette Mosley, all of Shubuta; five grandchildren, Connor
Pittman, Emma Pittman, Larkin Herrington, Raylee Herrington and Brenda
Tisdale; and a special friend in Joe Formica.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Mosley.

Born in Purvis on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1952 to Clarence Levi Gipson and
Joyce Armenia Gipson, she was a member of The Evangel Temple.
She died on Monday, April 29, 2024 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Mills of Meridian; two
sons and daughters-in-law, Gilbert and Annie Knue of Louisiana and Mike
and Nicole Dickinson of Foxworth; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and
Will Saul of Purvis; seven granddaughters and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Levi Gipson; and her
mother, Joyce Rayborn Gipson.

Funeral services for Voncile "Bonnie" Rigney Odom, 83, of Meridian, were
conducted on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, 2024 from Clara Church of God,
with Rev. Judd Vowell and Rev. Edward Bean officiating.
Born in Waynesboro on Saturday, Nov. 23, 1940 to Luther Rigney and Ides
Rigney, she was a Charter Member of Clara Church of God. She worked as a
Machine Operator with Northern Electric Company.
She died on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Trend Health and Rehabilitation
in Meridian.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Leslie and Jennifer
Odom of Waynesboro, Luther and Tammy Odom of State Line and Zelon and
Laura Odom of Crystal Springs; seven grandchildren and their respective
spouses, Brandon and Alyssa Christensen, Cameron Odom, Saxton and Lacy
Odom and Lucas and Julie Odom; four great-grandchildren, Luna Sullivan,
Laurel Odom, Luke Odom and Tessa Odom; three brothers, John Paul Rigney
of Waynesboro; Rev. L.V. Rigney of Blytheville, Ark., and Rev. C.J.
Rigney of Buckatunna; and her sister, Glenda Hollinghead of State Line.
She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Rigney; her mother, Ides
Rigney; her granddaughter, Brianna Margo Odom; two brothers, Ungay
Rigney and Davis Rigney; and two sisters, Lena Pearl Anderson and Becky
Giles.
