be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 from the Chapel of Turner

Funeral Home.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Fate Turner

Cemetery in Millry, Ala.

Lights.

She died on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023 at Tom C. Maynor Rehabilitation

Center in Meridian.

She is survived by her husband, Arnet "Tedee" West; four sons and a

daughter-in-law, Nicholas Evans of Cleveland, Miss., Thomas and

Shaquinta Hicks of Quitman, Julious Heidelberg, Jr., of Quitman and Josh

Jackson of Quitman; three daughters and a son-in-law, Aurellia West of

Quitman, Ar'Lexus West-Phillips of Laurel and Anita and Frederick

Fortner of Raymond; her brother, Willie Evans, Jr., of Hartsville, S.C.;

four sisters and a brother-in-law, Vera Mays of Temple, Texas, Mary

Pickett of Cleveland, Ohio, Ruby and Paul Jones of Waynesboro and Willie

Mae Evans of Quitman; and her father, Willie Evans, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her mother, a daughter, two grandchildren,

McGill and Brenda Alford, both of Shubuta; three grandchildren, five

great-grandchildren and four adopted in love great-grandchildren.
