CHRISTOPHER JAY KEANE

Funeral services with military honors for Christopher Jay Keane, 32, of Waynesboro, will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Winchester United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Born on Thursday, Dec. 8, 1988 in San Angelo, Texas, to Paul and Doris Keane, he was a Veteran, serving two tours of duty in Iraq while in the Mississippi Army National Guard, serving with the 114th 2nd Artillery Battalion. He reached the rank of Staff Sergeant and was posthumously promoted to First Sergeant. He was about to enter his 13th year of service in the Guard when he died.

A 2007 graduate of Wayne County High School, he was a starter on the 2006 War Eagle football team that went undefeated and won the Class 4A State Championship.

He died on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021 at his residence.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Doris Keane of Waynesboro; his sister and brother-in-law, Kelly and Will Taylor of Progress; his brother and his fiance, Steven Keane and Madison McReynolds of Hattiesburg; his maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Addison of Strafford, Mo.; his maternal grandmother, Melissa Keane of Dallas, Texas; his paternal grandfather and his spouse, Joseph F. and Carol Keane, Jr., of Kansas City, Mo.; his nephews, William Lawrence Taylor III and Henry Louis Taylor, both of Progress; his niece, Loralei Katherine Taylor of Progress; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who were truly family to him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Martin J. Addison.

Pallbearers will be members of the unit that he served in.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in his honor be made to the WCHS Football Booster Club, Wayne County High School, 1325 Azalea Dr.; or to the United Service Organization (uso.org).

Funeral services for Floyd Henry Warren, 61, of Waynesboro, will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021 from Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 12-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home. Masks must be worn and hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry.

A Memorial Service for Joe Carl Newburn, Sr., 63, of Waynesboro, will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 from New Hope Methodist Church in Waynesboro.

Born in Laurel on Wednesday, April 9, 1958 to Voyde Newburn, Sr., and Martha Louise Newburn, he worked as a Self-Employed Contractor.

He died on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 at his residence.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Joe Carl and Paula Newburn, Jr., of Richlands, N.C.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Shannon Newburn of Jacksonville, N.C., Terri and Allen Raines of Oriental, N.C., and Crystal and John Stone of Havelock, N.C.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Patricia and Roger Malone and Christy Newburn, all of Waynesboro; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and an uncle, Tilmon Pope of Gulfport.

Graveside burial will follow at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 from Mt. Zion Cemetery in Buckatunna.

Born on Sept. 19, 1932, he died on Monday, May 10, 2019.

He is survived by his loving wife, Roberta Bonner; two sons, Randal Bonner and Paul Bonner; a brother, Forrest A. Bonner; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandson.

Born in Waynesboro on Thursday, July 15, 1965 to Samuel T. Jordan and Flossie Jordan, she was a member of Eucutta Independent Church. She was a Homemaker.

She died on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Dail; her son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Krysten Dail of Shubuta; her daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Brece Daniels of Shubuta; her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Diana Jordan of Waynesboro; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Robert Grindstaff, Sammie and Alton Cason and Shirley Giles, all of Waynesboro; and six grandchildren and their respective spouses, Sawyer and Marlee Jordan, Corteland Stanbro, Ava Stanbro, Laicyn Daniels, Kadence Heard and Jacen Heard.

Funeral services for Justin Cornelius Bolton, 29, of Citronelle, Ala., were conducted on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 from Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Richton, with Pastor Richard Woullard officiating.

Born on Jan. 7, 1992, he was a Class A Electrician with Ingalls Shipbuilding. He served in the United States Air Force, earning the rank of Senior Airman (SRA).

He died on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 in Mobile, Ala.

He is survived by his wife, Ronae Bolton of Citronelle; two sons, Jayden Rains and Raylon Bolton, both of Citronelle; a daughter, Justice Bolton of Citronelle; eight brothers and two sisters-in-law, Zachery and Merykah Palacio Bolton of Fort Worth, Texas, Timothy Moore of Chicago, Ill., Kylin Bolton, Overton Moore and Rev. Interment followed at Whispering Pines Cemetery in Eight Mile, Ala.

Born on Dec. 5, 1936, she was retired as a Domestic Worker. She was a Nursery Volunteer at Harvest Church and a Girl Scouts Volunteer.

She died on Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021 at Ashland Place in Mobile.

Born in Waynesboro on Thursday, Feb. 10, 1938 to Charles Coe and Mattie Coe, he was a member of Southern Methodist Church of Waynesboro, He had worked as a Supervisor with Mobile Area Water and Sewer System (MAWSS).

He died on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela M. Coe of Waynesboro; two sons, Charles Arthur Coe of Leakesville and Jarvis Wade "Critter" Coe of Waynesboro; two daughters, Gloria Uber of Conyers, Ga., and Palm Blalock of Sulligent, Ala.; two stepsons and their respective spouses, Shane Andrews and Jason and Melissa Andrews, all of Waynesboro; a sister-in-law, Maxine Willkins; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Coe; his mother, Mattie Coe; a son, David Anthony Coe; and a daughter, Beverly Coe Taite.

Born on June 15, 1949, she was a former Cook at Roundtable Restaurant and Hardee's. A member of Holly Bush Missionary Baptist Church, she was a Mission Board member, a Choir Member, a Youth Director and a member of Red Circle.

She died on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital.

Born on Aug. 2, 1954, he was a United States Marines Corps Veteran.

He died on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

He is survived by his daughter, and son-in-law, Judy and Elijah Horne; his mother, Hazel Nobles; and a host of brothers, sisters and grandchildren.
