Notice is hereby given by the Wayne County Board of Education that

sealed bids will be received by said Board until 10:00 A.M. on Monday,

September 26, 2022 in the Office of the Superintendent of Education, 810

Chickasawhay Street, Waynesboro, MS 39367 for a lease of hunting and

fishing rights on the following described Sixteenth Section Public

School Trust Lands, Wayne County, Mississippi:

Section 16, Township 6 North, Range 5 West

Containing 580 acres, more or less

In accordance with Section 29-3-41 of the MS Code, all bids will be

opened at the regular meeting of the Board of Education of the Wayne

County School District at 3:00 P.M., Monday, September 26, 2022, in the

board room of the Superintendent's Office located at 810 Chickasawhay

Street, Waynesboro, Mississippi 39367.

The Wayne County Board of Education requires a minimum bid of $6.25 per

acre with the lease contract ending June 30, 2025. All bidders must

enclose a bid deposit (cashier's check, money order, or personal

check) in the amount of the annual rent with the bid when submitted. It

is understood the checks and/or money orders will be returned to the

bidders whose bids are not accepted.

The Lessee is required to pay the annual taxes on the property to the

Wayne County Tax Collector. The Lessee is also required to pay a

one-time filing fee to the Wayne County Chancery Clerk upon execution of

lease.

The Wayne County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and

all bids, but if any bid is accepted, the Board will award said lease to

the highest and best bidder.

WHEREAS, on June 17, 2019, Glen E. Roberts, Jr. and wife, Kenda

Williams, executed a Land Deed of Trust to John R. Gunn, Trustee for the

benefit of First State Bank, which Deed of Trust was recorded June 21,

2019, in the Land Deed of Trust Records as Instrument 201901992 in the

County, Mississippi, TAKE NOTICE that Womack Energy, Inc. has filed a

Petition with the State Oil and Gas Board of Mississippi under Docket

No. 411-2022-D requesting the Board to approve the maximum injection

pressure calculated and other determinations for the Chismor 21-9 No. 1

Well (API 2315300085) and the Ulmer Pryor 21-16 No. 1 Well (API

2315300751), both located in Wausau Field, Wayne County, Mississippi.

The Petition will be heard by the Board at 9:00 o'clock a.m. on the 19th

day of October, 2022, at 500 Greymont Ave., Suite E, Jackson,

Mississippi 39202, at which time and place you may appear and contest

said matter.

If you intend to contest the docket or request a continuance, you must

notify the Board and the Petitioner's representative of your intention
