Graveside services for Sherry A. Jones, 51, of Waynesboro, will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 from New Jordan Church Cemetery, with Rev. Alfred James officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 from the Chapel of McDonald and Sons Funeral Home.

Born on Dec. 27, 1969, she died on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, Precious Lacey; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Mack Fred Jones, Billy Joe and Glenda Jones and Willie Roy Jones, all of Waynesboro; her sisters, Betty L. Powe and Diane Jones, both of Waynesboro, and Mary Jones of Jackson; her aunt, Sadie Pearl West of Miami, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mary Harvey Frasier, 91, of Waynesboro, will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Dr. Steve Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Waynesboro Cemetery.

Born in Durant on Thursday, June 19, 1930 to Luther Harvey and Cora Steen Harvey, she was a member of Waynesboro First Baptist Church, the Fortnightly Club and the Chickasawhay Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a Homemaker.

She loved her husband, children and grandchildren, and they were truly her heart. She also loved decorating and making beautiful things. For many years, she designed and made her clothes as well as her children's clothes. She shared the love of Christ wherever she went.

She died on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul K. and Vicki Frasier II of Shubuta; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jan Frasier and Gary Coleman of Century, Fla., Mona Shea Frasier and Larry Givens of Chatom, Ala., and Denise Frasier and Paul Brown of Fruitdale, Ala.; 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Frasier, Sr.; her father, Luther Harvey; her mother, Cora Steen Harvey; a daughter, Andreae O'Dom Busby; her brother, Clayton Harvey; and two sisters, Olene Harvey Clark and Mildred Manuel.

Funeral services for Edna Muriel Thompson, 78, of Waynesboro, were conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Ainsworth, Rev. Mike Street, Rev. Bernie Fleming and Rev. Mark Guy officiating.

Interment followed at Corinth Cemetery.

Born in Chunky on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1943 to William Fred Loper and Rosie Nell Loper, she was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and the New Orleans Saints.

She died on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021 at her residents, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Thompson of Waynesboro; three daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Eric White of Waynesboro, Jennifer and Michael Roy Dixon of Millry, Ala., and Crystal and John Pearson of State Line; a daughter-in-law, Cissy Thompson of Clara; two sisters, Judy Lofton and Joyce Revette, both of Waynesboro; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a special grandchild, Addison Torrey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Thompson; her father, William Fred Loper; her mother, Rosie Nell Loper; a son, William Thompson; two brothers, Don Loper and Raymond Yates; and three sisters, Peggy O'Berry, Linda Palmer and Patsy Holifield.

Funeral services for Elizabeth LaShay Mixon Rogers, 48, of Silas, Ala., were conducted on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021 from Silas First Baptist Church in Silas, with Rev. Randy Byrd and Rev. Doug Chapman officiating.

Interment followed at Edgar Cemetery in Silas.

She was born in Meridian on Nov. 30, 1972 to Sammy Ray Mixon and Ouida Daughtery Mixon.

She died on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Rogers of Silas; her son, Chay Rogers of Silas; her daughter, Lawsyn Rogers of Silas; her mother, Ouida Daughtery Mixon of Silas; her sister and brother-in-law, Taran Mixon and Billy Mosley of Toxey, Ala.; her nieces and their respective spouses, Trystan Mosely and Wade Simmons of Toxey and Lilyan Mosely and Jake Manning of Silas; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rayleigh Simmons, Sam Simmons and Breland Manning; and a special friend in Patsy Doggett of Silas.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Ray Mixon.

Pallbearers were Anthony Beard, Billy Jackson, Scott Lindsey, Jake Manning, Wade Simmons and Mark Williams.

Graveside services for William Ray "Bill" Donald, 83, of Waynesboro, were conducted on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021 from Waynesboro Cemetery, with Ray Hudson and Rev. Clay Conner officiating.

Born in Carmichael on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1937 to Ray E. Donald and Ollie Mae Donald, he served in the United States Army. He was retired as a Grave Digger for Freeman Funeral Home.

He died on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021 at Rush Specialty Hospital in Meridian.

He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, T.G. and Rita Conner, Richard B. Conner and Mike and Tracey Conner, all of Waynesboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Albert Busby of Waynesboro; two cousins, Bonnie "J.W." Dew and Ronnie Craft; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Born in Waynesboro on Monday, Jan. 21, 1952 to Billy Joe Waller and Edna Sue Waller, he was a member of Harvest Temple Church of God Church. He had worked as a Superintendent in the oilfield industry.

He died on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Caves Waller of Waynesboro; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Steve Waller of DeSoto, Eric and Tasha Waller of Hattiesburg, Brandon Waller of Waynesboro and Kyle and Chasity Graham of Waynesboro; a brother, Jason Waller of Shubuta' a sister, Jena Benton of Satsuma, Ala.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Born in Laurel on Thursday, Sept. 11, 1958 to Walter Manning and Annie Manning, he was a member of Charity Baptist Church. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction industry.

He died on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Manning of Waynesboro; his brother and sister-in-law, Walter Edward and Brenda Manning of Dennis; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Patsy and J.D. Hinton of New Augusta, Sandra Lindsey of Waynesboro and Tina and George Henslee of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

He died on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Evelyn Jackson of Millry; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Willie Clyde "Pete" Jackson of Jackson, Donald Irvin and Donnie Jackson and Charles Eugene Jackson, all of Coffeeville, Ala.; his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Ann Jackson and James Silda of Moselle; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gilmore and Doris Holyfield of Millry; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patricia and David Sullivan of Millry; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Pat McMichael of Waynesboro and Ed and Debra McMichael of Aquilla, Ala.; her daughter, Diann Flower of Auburn, Ala.; her sister, Iola Smith of Middletown, Ind.; 15 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
