BOBBIE JEAN "BOB" TWINER

Graveside services for Bobbie Jean "Bob" Twiner, 93, of Shubuta, were
conducted on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from Zion Rest Cemetery in Eucutta,
with Rev. Bill Boulton and Rev. Paul Harris officiating.
Born in Shubuta on Saturday, May 25, 1929 to the late George and Virgie
McNeil, she was a member of Eucutta Independent Church. She worked as a
Factory Worker with Northern Electric Company.
She died on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at South Central Regional Medical
Center in Laurel.
She is survived by her son, Bobby "Pedro" Robinson of Shubuta; her
daughter and son-in-law, Daphne Gail "Tootie" and David McCarty of
Waynesboro; her stepson, Duncan Twiner of Ellisville; two sisters, Hazel
Jackson of Waynesboro and Anita "Teenie" Thomas of Eucutta; seven
grandchildren and their respective spouses, Gerri Lynn Thomas of
Heidelberg, Ryan Wade and Lindsey Robinson of Ellisville, Matthew Brock
and Ashley Mosley of Strengthford, George Eddie and Joe Robinson, Jr.,
of Millry, Ala.; Dakota Lee "Cody" Lohr of Sandersville, Madison Breanna
and Brandon King of Waynesboro, and Rylee Paige and Meagan McCarty of
San Antonio, Texas; two special grandchildren and their respective
spouses, Jessica Ann Busby of Fruitdale, Ala., and John Caleb and Sydney
Parker of Laurel; six great-grandchildren and their respective spouses,
Noel Nicole and Stephen Armstrong of Laurel, Skylar Dayden Hutcherson of
Waynesboreo, Braelyn La'Shae Hutcherson of Waynesboro, Colton Jase
Robinson of Ellisville, Rylan Case Robinson of Ellisville, John Carson
Robinson of Ellisville, Barrett Walter Busby of Fruitdale, Adalynn Kate
Busby of Fruitdale and Kaitlyn Elizabeth "Kaytee-Beth" Parker of Laurel.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eddie "Bill" Robinson;
her second husband, Harvey "Pete" Twiner; her parents, George and Virgie
McNeil; her stepmother, Eula Mae Mosley McNeil; a son, George Eddie
"Joe" Robinson; a daughter, Pamela Sue "Pam" Thomas; a stepson, Harvey
Twiner; a stepdaughter, Kay Pope; her half-berother, Eugene McNeil; two
sisters, Lila Dean and Wilma Smith; a half-sister, Dorothy Hershey; a
grandchild, Andrew Dean "Andy" Robinson; and a special
great-grandchildren, Lucy Elizabeth Parker.
Pallbearers were Ryan Robinson, Stephen Armstrong, Brock Mosley, Justin
Hughes, Ryan Twiner and Jimmy Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Joe
Robinson and Caleb Parker.

Graveside services for Larry Horne, 58, of Shubuta, were conducted on
Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from Calvary Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in
Shubuta, with Pastor Cleo McGrew officiating.
Born on May 26, 1964, he died on Sunday, June 18, 2022 at Choctaw
General Hospital.
He is survived by his mother, Cleola Horne; his father, Bennie Thornton;
his brother, Tommie Nicholson; his stepbrothers, Bennie Thornton and
Elgin Thortnon; his stepsister, Betty Simmons; and his devoted nieces,
Ratina, Danyel Williams, Nicole, Christina, Reanuda L., Luanna, Tosha,
TaKeisha and Tiffany Napier.

CLASSIE M. LEVERETT
May 26, 1930-June 14, 2022
Funeral services for Classie M. Leverett, 92, of Toxey, Ala., were
conducted on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from New Light Missionary Baptist
Church, with Larry McLaurin officiating.
Interment followed at New Light Missionary Baptist Church.
Born on May 26, 1930, she worked as a Janitor in the cleaning service
industry.
She died on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Jackson Health Care in Jackson,
Ala.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Leverett; her daughter, Shirley
Napier; a son-in-law, Antonio Napier; her goddaughter, Yvonne Hicks; 12
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in dean by her mother, Daisy Hives; her father, Bernard
Evans; her husband, Pleas Hives; two sisters, Rachel Rinksey and
Pearline Hives; and a brother, Lorenzo Hives.

March 12, 1976-June 15, 2022
Funeral services for Shihie Uratha Carter, 46, of Waynesboro, were
conducted on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from New Vision Baptist Church,
with Rickey Chambers officiating.
Interment followed at Sweet Pilgrim United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Born on March 12, 1976, Carter died on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at West
Jefferson Medical Center.
Survivors include two sons, Adarina Carter and Cyrus Davis, Jr.; two
daughters, Sierra Carter and Alliyah Russell; the mother, Betty J.
Carter; the father, James C. Carter; a godson, Darrion "Red" Hill; four
sisters, Linda, Dora, Audrey Hill and Kindra Nobles; a brother, Canarris
Powe; and grandchildren, Raleigh, Russell, ChaQuan Powe, Kaelen Davis,
Addie Poole, Cathy Carter and A'Kaylee Carter.
Carter was preceded in death by John C. Carter, Robert Edward Pittman
and Shanta Nobles.

Oct. 4, 1984-June 15, 2022
Graveside services for Calvin Burroughs, 38, were conducted on Thursday,
June 23, 2022 from Brock Cemetery on Hayes Nute Road in Waynesboro, with
Marvin Campbell officiating.
Born on Oct. 4, 1984, he died on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at WMSLD
Whifield in Mississippi.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Burroughs Trotter; his father,
Larry Burroughs; and five siblings, Andre, Larry, Lasonia, James and
Yolanda. He is also survived by Alexis, Aleija, Amara, Axavier, Andrew,
Desmond, Deja, Linnea, Destiny and Braelon.
