Funeral services for Aden "A.D." Coleman, 86, of Laurel, were conducted on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 from New Life Fellowship Church of God in Christ in Shubuta, with Elder Eddie Simpson officiating.

Interment followed at New Life Cemetery.

Born on March 11, 1935, he was a Retired Truck Checker with Masonite Corporation. He was a Deacon at New Life Fellowship Church of God in Christ.

He died on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Zera Coleman; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Ollie Brown, Ida and Samuel Gray, Angelia and Edward McSwain and Cynthia Coleman; 18 grandchildren and their respective spouses, Ashley, Cortenay and Mekedira, Johnny and Tiffany, Lale and Kris, Juan, Kezia, Amaziah, Qua'Vadis and Ernest, ThaKayla and Kyi, Eunice and Marcus, Edrei and Tia, Aden and Kristen, Yurl and Jay, Rosh, Adrien, KeBrina, Eliuse and Jameka and Daniel; and 25 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, a granddaughter and a brother.
