Funeral services for Rev. Woody Jordan, Sr., 74, of Richland and
formerly of Waynesboro will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 13,
2022 from Westhaven Funeral Home in Jackson, with Dr. Terry Young
officiating. Following that service, a visitation will take place from
3-:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral
Home, followed by a graveside service at 4 p.m. from Jordan Cemetery in
Waynesboro, with Rev. Willie Kinslow officiating.
Born on Oct. 7, 1947, he was a Veteran of the United States Marine
Corps, a Retiree with UPS and a Substitute Teacher.
He died on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson.

BRENDA LEE JOHNSON
Dec. 8, 1962-May 5, 2022
Graveside services for Brenda Lee Johnson, 59, of Waynesboro, will be at
1 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from Waynesboro Cemetery, with Elder
Johnny Dennis officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday,
May 13, 2022 followed by a wake from 6-8 p.m., all from the chapel of
Turner Funeral Home.
Born on Dec. 8, 1962, she was a Homemaker.
She died on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.

JOHN ANDREW WELFORD
Oct. 23, 1955-May 5, 2022
Funeral services for John Andrew Welford, 66, of Lucedale, were
conducted on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from the Family Life Fellowship
Church in Lucedale, with Brother Jay Solomon, Brother Arvis Wiggins and
Brother Owen Eubanks officiating.
Interment followed at the church cemetery.
Born on Oct. 23, 1955, he was a Veteran of the Army National Guard and
was a Retired Correctional Officer.
He died on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Johnnie and Michael
Miles of Lucedale and Katherine and Jacob Yates of Mobile; three
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a sister, his wife,
a nephew and a brother-in-law.

ANDREW JONES
Feb. 10, 1930-May 3, 2022
Graveside services for Andrew Jones, 92, of Waynesboro, were conducted
on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from Brock Cemetery, with Rev. S. Willis
officiating.
Born on Feb. 10, 1930, he was a Veteran of the United States Armed
Forces.
He died on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in Waynesboro.
He is survived by his wife, Lylie Jones of Shubuta; three sons and a
daughter-in-law, Leroy Jones of Shubuta, Redell Jones of Waynesboro and
Michael and Charlotte Jones of Birmingham, Ala.; his daughter, Christine
Evans of Shubuta; his sister, Belzola Alexander of Chicago, Ill.; 11
grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren,
five sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends.
McDonald and Son Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of
arrangements.
CLIFFORD HUTTO
Nov. 8, 1937-May 2, 2022
Funeral services for Clifford Hutto, 84, of Waynesboro, were conducted
on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with
Rev. Billy Duncan, Rev. Matt Olson and Rev. Drew Holifield officiating.
Interment followed at White House Cemetery.
Born on Monday, Nov. 8, 1937 to Ulmer H. "Bunk" Hutto and Alice
Hutto, he was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. He had worked as an
Owner and Operator at Cliff's Auto Parts.
He was born again in 1957. For the past 64 years, he led a life
proclaiming the name of Jesus in his business, his community and his
family. His standard for Christian living was exemplary as an ambassador
for Christ. His faith and diligence for studying the Word and his
willingness to be obedient to his Savior prepared him to be used as a
witness, a friend and a mentor for many, both young and old.
He died on Monday, May 2, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his
family.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Hutto of Waynesboro; three daughters
and a son-in-law, Brenda Cain of Miami, Fla., Braunda Hutto of Murray,
Ken., and Rhonda and Mark Cowart of Dacula, Ga.; two brothers and
sisters-in-law, T.T. and Garcia Hutto and Jerry and Donna Hutto, all of
Waynesboro; two sisters, Dianna Douglas of New Orleans, La., and Anna
Bell Hutto of Waynesboro; and a grandchild, Aubrey Cowart of Dacula.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ulmer H. "Bunk" Hutto; his
mother, Alice Hutto; two brothers, Albert Hutto and Nig Hutto; and two
grandchildren, Michael Cain and Tara Delaine.
Pallbearers were Anthony Hutto, Brad Keith, Brian Keith, David
Overstreet, Ronnie Cochran, Ben Davis, Jon Malone and Andrew Hutto.
