Graveside services for Lisa W. Foster, 56, of Seminary and formerly of Waynesboro, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022 from Waynesboro City Cemetery, with Rev. Willie Kinslow officiating. Visitation will be from 12-6 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home.

Bonr on June 16, 1965, she was employed with Southern Hen.

She died on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg.

She is survived by her husband, David Foster; her son, Javier Foster; a daughter, Shaquitta Foster; two stepdaughters, Shonda Foster Monigan and Jessica Burns; two brothers, Billy Wayne White and Prentis Walker, both of Waynesboro; six sisters and two brothers-in-law, Grace Smart Walker Anderson of Alabama, Jewel and Esdaile Franklin, Eunice Mauldin and Pearl Ann and James Morce Bivens of Fruitdale, Ala., Dessie walker of Mobile, Ala., and Addie Mayle of Alabama; two grandsons and a granddaughter.

Funeral services for Lavay F. Hutto, 88, of Chatom, Ala., were conducted on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from Spring Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Jesse Griffith and Rev. Jody Smith officiating.

Interment followed at Reynolds Holiness Church Cemetery in Chatom.

Born on Thursday, April 19, 1934 to Willie Ferguson and Glossie Lee Ferguson, she was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Chatom. She retired as an Agent with Farmers Home Administration (FHA).

She died on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Derek and Susan Hutto of Waynesboro; her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy D. and Katie Ferguson of Yarbo, Ala.; two sisters, Patsy Amacker of Kansas City, Mo., and Kay Boler of Yarbo; five grandchildren and their respective spouses, Johnathan and Nora Hutto of Gilbertown, Ala., Jessica and Nick Grana of Chatom, Jarred and Emily Hutto of Wagarville, Ala., Elliot Cassell of Waynesboro and Evan and Ashley Cassel of Hattiesburg; and nine great-grandchildren, John Derek Hutto, Carleigh Hutto, Kylie Singleton, Emma Hutto, Lallie Hutto, Briggs Chancey, Leah Chancey, Olivia Cassell and Luca Cassell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William I. Hutto; her father, Willie Ferguson; and her mother, Glossie Lee Ferguson Dennis.

Born on Dec. 22, 1969, she was employed with Sunbeam for 20 years and worked as a Cashier with Valero for three years. She also enjoyed decorating.

She died on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Jerrame Davis; her son, Jaquez Harris; her godson Jeremy Drayson Taylor of Waynesboro; seven daughters and four sons-in-law, Dameshia and John Gray, Jennifer and Larius Powe and Keladia Ellis, all of Waynesboro, Quenteshia and Lateya Dotson Power of Jacksonville, Fla., T'Keyiah Ellis of Hattiesburg, Demetria and Johnston Jones of Canyon, Ga., and Teaundria Warren of Laurel; her mother, Delorise Rankin Powe; six sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary and Jimmy Powe of Waynesboro, Deborah Powe of Gulfport, Saria Smith and Powder Springs, Ga., Valerie and Jimmy Davis of olive Branch, and Chanda Davis and Carolyn Davis of Waynesboro; her brother, John Lewis Powe of Waynesboro, 12 grandchildren, nine aunts, four uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and close friends.
