Extra patrols set for storm damaged areas

The Wayne County Sheriff's Department has announced that it will have extra deputies patrolling the storm damaged areas for the next several nights in order to prevent looting.

The public is reminded to report any suspicious people or activity to the department by calling 9-1-1.

Any suspected looters will be jailed and prosecuted.
