New Year starts with triple murder

The Wayne County and Greene County Sheriff’s Departments investigating a triple murder that happened early New Year’s morning near the two county lines.

WCSO Chief Deputy confirmed that three people were dead after an incident at the Exxon station in State Line. The store is just across the county line in Greene County.

No details —including the time of the incident — were being released as the scene was still being processed and the investigation was continuing.
