Computers, cash stolen in library burglary; will reopen Tuesday

Investigators with the Waynesboro Police Department are working a case

According to WPD Chief Holt Ross, the break in occurred some time
between Saturday night and Monday morning. He said the suspects gained
entry into the facility without setting off alarms.

Stolen from the library were computers, an undisclosed amount of cash
and other items, Ross said.

"We are downloading video from the surveillance cameras," Ross said.

Late Monday afternoon, Library Director Patsy C. Brewer announced the library would be open at 9 a.m. Tuesday and will still be hosting the Santa, Mrs. Claus, Llama Llama Red Pajama Christmas event starting at 3:30 p.m.
