Graveside services for Betty Jones Davidson, 88, of State Line, will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022 from Johnson Creek Cemetery in State Line, with Rev. Johnny Coaker officiating.

Born in State Line on Tuesday, July 4, 1933 to Oscar Jones and Lottie Jones, she was a Homemaker.

She died on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cindy Mills of Chunchula, Ala., and David and Gina Mills of State Line; two sisters, Audrey Long and Vera Dixon, both of Mobile, Ala.; seven grandchildren and their respective spouses, Chris Mills, Deanna and Geno Shurtz, Kenneth and Samantha Mills, Denna Mills, Grant and Allison Mills, Carey Rome and Jamie Cannon; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Jones; her mother, Lottie Jones; a son, James Larry Mills; a brother, Huey Jones; a sister, Eloise Platt; and a granddaughter, Angela Mills Gaston.
