Blood donations needed; $5,000 gift card drawing used as incentives

With the need for blood donations at a critical level, Vitalant has announced a special promotion that will be part of upcoming blood drives in Wayne County.

Vitalant Donor Recruitment Representative Bethany Rigney said there is a critical need throughout the Pine Belt for blood donations. With that in mind, the organization is offering special incentives to increase donations. All donors in the month of January will be entered into a drawing for one of four $5,000 gift cards.

Upcoming blood drives in Wayne County, along with donor codes, are as follows:
