Funeral services for Pamela Marie Coe, 69, of Waynesboro, will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Tommy Davis officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.

Born in Mobile, Ala., on Thursday, Jan. 3, 1952 to Max and Shirley Johnson, she was a member of Southern Methodist Church of Waynesboro. She worked as a Technician with Mobile Water Works.

She died on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.

She is survived by her three sons and one daughter-in-law, Shane Andrews, Jason and Melissa Andrews and Jarvis Wade "Critter" Coe, all of Waynesboro; two sisters, Maxine Wilkins of Mobile and Barbara Tatlas of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Alexa Andrews Dumas and Jace Andrews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ray Coe; her father, Max Johnson; and her mother, Shirley Johnson.

Graveside services for Louis James Gilmore, 60, of Killeen, Texas, will be at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 from Altair Church Cemetery, with Pastor Fred Gilmore, Jr., officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 from the Chapel of McDonald and Sons Funeral Home.

Born on June 19, 1961, he died on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021 in Killeen.

He is survived by his son, Brandarious Gilmore; his daughter, Bernice Smith; and eight siblings, Shirley Harris, Eula Davis, Fred J.R. Gilmore, Earnest James Gilmore, Sherell Gilmore, Greg Harris, Roderick Davis and Kareen Gilmore.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest J.R. Gilmore; his mother, Ora Mae Gilmore; three sisters, Doris Gilmore, Bertha Nell Gilmore and Carolyn Gilmore; and a brother, Fraser Gilmore.

Graveside services for David Leroy Hutchinson, Jr., 71, of Laurel, were conducted on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021 from Salem Cemetery in Wayne County, with Rev. Aaron Cooley officiating.

Born in Laurel on Thursday, Sept. 21, 1950, he was retired as a Toolpusher in the oilfield industry. He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was also a recipient of the Purple Heart.

He died on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 at his residence.

He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Margaret Hutchinson and Jacob Tiner of Laurel and Crystal Hutchinson of Wayne County; two brothers, Thomas Dale Hutchinson and Kenneth Wayne Hutchinson, both of Wayne County; a sister, Elizabeh Busby of Wayne County; four grandchildren, Jacob Ferguson, Christopher Gavin Dearman, McKinley Walker and Madalyn Blue; and the mother of his children, Jeanette Easterling of Laurel.

He was preceded in death by his father, David L. Hutchinson, Sr.; his mother, Doris Hutchinson; and his granddaughter, Makayla Dearman.

Funeral services for Jettie Vanosdol, 93, of Waynesboro, were conducted on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021 from Pleasant Ridge Assembly of God Church in Waynesboro, with Rev. Brad Maxcey and Ray Hudson officiating.

Interment followed at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Born in Waynesboro on Friday, Oct. 5, 1928 to Ellis Hudson and Alifair Hudson, she was a member of Pleasant Ridge Assembly of God Church. She had worked as a Cook at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation.

She died on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021 at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation.

She is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ellis and Jo Lane Vanosdol and Johnny Vanosdol, all of Waynesboro; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Nell Lott of Beaumont, Shirley and Robert Maxcey of Laurel, Myrtle and Dan Walters of Calhoun and Dimple and Eugene Butler of Waynesboro; her sister, Faye Douglas of Brookhaven; 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren and a great-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Josh Vanosdol; her father, Ellis Hudson; her mother, Alifair Hudson; a daughter, Joy Byrd; four brothers, Luther Hudson, Gilbert Hudson, Wilbert Hudson and Bobby Hudson; and her sister, Hazel Brewer.

Pallbearers were Corban Walley, Kohl Walley, Derrick Vanosdol, Cody Vanosdol, Dion Byrd, Jason Byrd, Dakota Maxcey and Caden Dyess.

Funeral services for Preston Ray Gatlin, 87, of Ellisville, were conducted on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry East and Rev. Dwight Smith officiating.

Born in Wayne County on Thursday, Jan. 25, 1934 to Ollie Gatlin, Sr., and Medah Gatlin, he was a member of West Ellisville Baptist Church.

A Veteran of the Korean War, he served in the United States Army. He had worked in Sales and Management at Schlumberger.

He died on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021 at the State Veterans Home in Collins.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edna E. Trigg Gatlin of Ellisville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Steven Ray Gatlin of Ellisville and Kavin and Lisa Gatlin of Laurel; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy Gatlin and Dr. Randy Cooper of Waynesboro; four brothers, Roy Gatlin of Waynesboro, Ollie Gatlin, Jr., Richard Gatlin and Gary Gatlin, all of Shubuta; a sister, Eminora Gatlin Pittman of Waynesboro; six grandchildren and their respective spouses, William Kurtis and Tiffany Gatlin of Ellisville, Danielle and Luigi Armao of Oak Grove, Brayden Gatlin of Laurel, Logan Pitts of Laurel, and Bryce Leland Cooper and Baylee Rachelle Cooper, both of Waynesboro; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ollie Gatlin, Sr.; his mother, Medah Gatlin; and a brother, Don Gatlin.

Pallbearers were Bryce Leland Cooper, Randy Cooper, William Kurtis Gatlin Luigi Armao, Logan Pitts and Jimmy Welch. Honorary pallbearers were Brayden Gatlin and Wayne Windham.

She died on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021 at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro.

She is survived by her son and daughters-in-law, John Randall "Randy" and Debbie Arnold of Waynesboro; her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Jerry Powe of Waynesboro; her brother and sister-in-law, James Ander and Martha Greene of Waynesboro; her sister, Martha Shirley of Mobile, Ala.; three grandchildren and their respective spouses, Casey and Chad Neal of Orange Beach, Ala., Micah and Krystal Powe of Mobile and Callie and Taylor Allen of Waynesboro; four great-grandchildren, Camryn Neal, Cooper Neal, Cannon Neal and Bexley Allen; and her special friend, Jettie McKee of Waynesboro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Lee Arnold, Jr.; her father, Percy H. Greene; her mother, Virgie Windgham; two brothers, Robert Greene and Donald Ray Greene; and her infant sister, Voncille Greene.

A memorial graveside service for Gerald E. "Jerry" Hutcherson, 73, of Buckatunna, was conducted on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 from Chicora-Davis Cemetery, with Rev. W.E. Hutcherson officiating.

Born in Mobile, Ala., on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1948 to Eugene A. Hutcherson and Helen Hutcherson, he had worked as a Diesel Mechanic with Exxon Mobile.

He died on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Debby Hutcherson of Buckatunna; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robby and Melissa Hutcherson of Satsuma, Ala., and Aaron and Crystal Hutcherson of Saraland, Ala.; his mother-in-law, Bobbie Harrison of Buckatunna; two brothers and a sister-in-law, W.E. and Frances Hutcherson of Clara and Claude Hutcherson of Buckatunna; his sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Larry Hawthorn of Gautier; four grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Lenora Lee Crager, 72, of State Line, were conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021 from Pine Grove Baptist Church in Chicora, with Brother Sam McClure officiating.

Interment followed at the Dailey Family Cemetery.

She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved her dog, her flowers, going to the mountains and cooking. She was a member of Red Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

She died on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital.

She is survived by her children and their respective spouses, Tammy and Jamie Brown of Mathersville, Ronnie Crager of State Line, Anita Lambert of Lucedale and Donald Wayne and Kathryn Crager of Laton Hill, Ala.; her sisters, Betty Jean Holifield of Buckatunna, Brenda Martin of Eucutta, Wanda Goff of Waynesboro, Stacey Dailey Davis of Clara and Byrdie Johnson of Salido, Colo.; her brothers, David Dailey of Buckatunna, Charlie Dailey of Buckatunna and John Dailey of Buckatunna; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Crager; her brothers, Luther, Henry and Jerry Dailey; her sisters, Annie Pearl Burnett and Judy Burgess; her grandson, Brandon Brown; and her great-grandson, Eastin Krysti.

Pallbearers were Devin Crager, Jonathan Crager, Blake Crager, T.J. Brown, Christian Lambert, Colby Brown and Clayton Krysti as an alternate.
