LESLIE LUTHER LEE
July 29, 1943-March 30, 2024
Graveside services for Leslie Luther Lee, 80, of Brandon, were conducted
on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from Lee's Chapel Cemetery, with Rev. Jim
Blaha and Richard McLendon officiating.
Born in Jones County on Thursday, July 29, 1943 to Luther William Lee
and Lena Lee, he was a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church in
Brandon. He was a Veteran and served in the Mississippi National Guard.
He worked as a Laboratory Technician for the Mississippi State Board of
Health for 38 years.
He died on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee of Brandon; his son and
daughter-in-law, Chad and Wendy Lee of Pelahatchie; his daughter, Amanda
Lee of Chandler, Ariz.; and five grandsons, Gavin Lee, Ames Lee, Parker
Lee, Lincoln Lee and Lochram Lee.

Research Hospital.

BETTIE JEAN HARRISON
Aug. 1, 1944-March 30, 2024
Graveside services for Bettie Jean Harrison, 79, of Laurel, were
conducted on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from Fellowship Cemetery in State
Line, with Rev. Paul Harris officiating.
Born in State Line on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1944 to the late Wayne and
Earlyne Harrison, she was a member of State Line Baptist Church.
She died on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Comfort Care Nursing Center in
Laurel.
She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry Wayne and
Suzanne Harrison of Piave and Bill and Lillie Harrison of Waynesboro;
four sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn and Pete Gardner of State
Line, Barbara and Donald Dearman of Waynesboro, Janie and Bob McNeill of
Pearl River, La., and Evelyn and Milton Dearman of State Line; and a
host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Earlyne Harrison;
and an infant sister.

MAE JEWELL REVETTE
Dec. 28, 1929-March 28, 2024
Funeral services for Mae Jewell Revette, 94, of State Line, were
conducted on Monday, April 1, 2024 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral
Home, with Rev. George Stark officiating.
Interment followed in Revette Cemetery.
Born in Crandall on Saturday, Dec. 28, 1929 to Hubble Jay Frasier and
Bertha Mae Frazier, she was a member of State Lined United Methodist
Church.
She died on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by her
loving family.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas P. Kelley of
State Line and Charles M. and kathy Kelley of Waynesboro; her daughter,
Deonna Scarbrough of State Line; her sister, Alice Faye Shoemaker of
State Line; seven grandchildren and their respective spouses, Jesse and
Addie kelley, Joshua A. Kelley, Chance and Sarah Kelley, Rachael and
John Huffman, Melissa Davis, Kailey Scarbrough and Emily Scarbrough; and
12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Grant Revette; her
parents, Hubble Jay Frazier and Bertha Mae Frazier; her son, Terry
Kelley; three brothers, Roy Frazier, Billy Frazier and Raymond Frazier;
two sisters, Dot Davis and Betty Sue Kirkland; and a grandson, Jeremy
Kelley.
